Iams Premium Protection Cat Food, 5.5 lb 4.5 5 4 4
Only one our cats will eat! Iams is the best...according to our two cats...one outdoor and one indoor. I received a sample of another brand. No go...according to the cats! They sniffed it and both of them walked away!I learned my lesson. Our cats are happier and healthier with their Iams! 07/06/2010
Don't waste your money I used to be a hardcore IAMS customer, but then I realized that they use by product meal in their foods, So i switched to Blue Buffalo, which is all REAL meats, which my cats seem to enjoy a whole lot more. Like i said they have been fed Iams most of their lives and I don't have any real complaints about it other then it's depressing they are advertising this to be so much better, but yet they have let out a lot of the cat food brands in their comparison chart that would most likely beat them out. Sadly they loose a lot of points with me there. 04/28/2010
Best for my Jasmine I tried Iams for my cat a long time ago when she was still a baby I think. It made a noticeable difference in her coat texture and the appearance of her fur. She is so silky. Her eyes are clear and shiny. She is an amazing 12 years old. 01/25/2010
Hair-Raising Success Our 16 year old domestic short-haired gray tabby has experienced an incredible event in her life. Approximately 6 years ago Mouser started losing all of her fluffy long hair (which wasn't actually all that long,) leaving her looking like a recently rescued drowning rat. All she had left was a patch of normal hair from the top of her head ending in a "V" shape at a point between her shoulder blades. Other than that she only had some wiry short white hairs and a lot of skin. We took her to multiple vets including specialists who came up with multiple diagnosis ending with an incurable syndrome. She was otherwise happy and healthy, so we decided to not worry about her looks. We added a 2 year old Long-hair domestic tuxedo to our family about 4 years ago. Bobcat was a big boy who soon weighed in at 16 lbs. Last fall based on his Vet's concern over his weight, I decided that I could control Bobcats food. I put Mouser's food up high where only she could reach it. So off I went and bought diet food for Bobcat and senior food for Mouser, oh did I mention that they have both only eaten Iams? The diet actually worked partly because Bobcat was so jealous he stopped eating the diet food when he realized he couldn't have whatever it was that Mouser had since he could not jump high enough. He survived on his one daily serving of wet Iams and some of his diet food. After about 4 months I realized that I needed to try something else. He had lost weight and was still boycotting the dry diet food. I went to our favorite pet store and discovered the Iams Premium Protection and thought it would be a good food for both them. Bobcat and Mouser loved it, so I was very pleased. After about 4 to 6 weeks, Mouser experienced her miracle. It started with her tail, which truly had look like a thin and hairless rat's tail. I wasn't keeping track of it, because I really didn't take any stock in the claim that it would help their coat. I was truly in shock when I realized that her tail was back to it's beautiful hairful state! Next the body hair started filling in to the point that today about 3 weeks later even the completely bare spots behind her ears are filling in. We think she has gained a bit of weight which she can use at 7 lbs. Not only does she appear to be healthier, she is even more spry. We are believers and can't wait to take her back to the Vet so they can see her. I've been inviting friends over to see her! I have checked and do not have too many pictures of her as a "hairless wonder," but I do have a few. What a treat to see the difference. 08/16/2009
