Rated 4 out of 5★ by SirKenn Not sexy but working fine I've always been hesitant to buy refurbished machines but in the last year I bought two for my office and they were great and saved me a lot of money. This one was funny because it is an old IBM and it even has a floppy disk slot. But it works fine for my kids internet browsing, email and a few games. Why would you spend more? I love it but it looks old as heck. 10/02/2013
Rated 5 out of 5★ by DaddyGee I own several computers that work great for everyday use but I needed one with particular system requirements to run "Virtual DJ" software with a MIDI dj controller.I couldn't afford to puchase a new laptop at the prices they sell for so I found this refurbished pc that met & exceeded the system requirements for my application. It came with everything I needed except for a monitor which luckily I had a spare. I am extremely happy with the quality, price & performance of this computer. Walmart once again provided a solution so I can have exactly what I need at an affordable price. I highly recommend this option if you have a similar situation. 10/21/2013
Rated 3 out of 5★ by RainiJ Slow and Sounds Funny but Works for Basic Computer The computer does work correctly, but, as expected on something this old and in this price range, it is very slow. The constant noise is the part that I did not expect and do not like. It sounds like a large industrial fan, running constantly. My son got one of these refurbed computers and it works great, my experience has not been as good. I use it every day, and every day I am less impressed with it. 03/03/2014
Rated 1 out of 5★ by BabyDesertEagle Sadly Disappointed My purchase was unfortunately "DOA" had to return it to Walmart for a refund, I took a refund rather than reordering as it was to be a gift for a friend and didn't have time to wait for a replacement. As usual the return process at Walmart was painless. I have bought refurbs before and have been pleased unfortunately this one was more dinged up than usual. It booted up to windows startup and then just quit and would not boot up again, I checked for loose connections and all were tight, (I was surprised to find IDE instead of SATA connections) the CPU fan sounded like an airplane prop at full throttle causing me to wonder if the CPU overheated at startup....Just one of those things I guess. Would have to give this purchase a --1 STARNote* It was apparantly a much older machine as it didn't have SATA drives and had a 3.5" floppy drive The last 3 I purchased had SATA drives and no floppy drive and worked great. As I said I've had good luck with refurbs before this time my luck ran out :o(Don't let my experiance this time discourage you from refurbs most of the time they are excellent buys. 03/06/2014
