love it! I am really pleased with the dog carrier. The color is more of a blue than purple. It's really nice to roll around like luggage or wear as a backpack (it even has a built in wheel cover so it doesn't get your back dirty). I've left it out and my dog goes in and sleeps in it all on her own! She is 13 lbs and fits great.. room to spare. I haven't taken it on the plane yet, but per Delta its fits the 9x16x17 requirement for my plane. The sides also unzip to give a little extra room. 12/14/2011
I finally found the perfect bag... & at a GREAT $$ I have been looking for the perfect travel carrier for my 9 lb rescue who came to live with us in October of 2010. I have brought her to every store in the area, and all of the bags seemed too small for her, or too big to fit under an airplane seat. She's a nervous creature, so putting her in a very small space causes her to immediately try to escape. Without the proper carrier though, I had to kennel her when I traveled (as I would never, ever fly with my dogs in the cargo compartment of the plane!) The issue with the larger carriers is that I usually fly Southwest & they only have an 8.5 inch clearance under the seat due to the plastic box housing the lifejacket. (This is being remedied in newer SWA planes with a flat pouch, rather than the big stupid box... but most planes still have the box.)This carrier works perfectly. My dog fits comfortably inside it (& will even sleep in it if I leave it unzipped/open on it's side.) It fits under the SWA seat if you slide it in sideways (the bottom is wider than the top), and it has little mesh cutouts on the side, so that my baby can still see me.This was probably the best price on this carrier that I have seen, MAYBE with the exception of places with ridiculously long shipping times. 02/21/2012
