Pleasantly surprised! I purchased this item as an insurance policy before hurricane Irene hit Connecticut. Thank God I did because power was out for 7 days. This generator work like a champ. Yes the noise level was as high as most generators, the gas consumption was lower considering the amount of time we used it. It started right up on the first or second pull. Also, Walmart was the only place that overnight-ed the product to me for only $50 09/30/2011
