It is a single watt-power LED. Not 5mm or 8mm LED like.

The RED light indicates that it is charging and will only show RED.

I have three of these flashlights. The only one with the red light off is the flashlight that won&#39;t charge with the solar panel. The other two charge just fine and I haven&#39;t noticed that the red light has ever gone out with those two. I think the red light goes out when it&#39;s not charged.

Will the red light go out when fully charged?

If you weren't able to cancel the extras you can always return them for a return at Walmart.....no problem.

This little flashlight is awesome! It holds its charge for days on in. I do a lot of home repairs and can rely on it always being charged and never having to buy another pack of batteries. It has a rather large solar panel which takes up about 2/3 of its handle. It is very sturdy, it won't break if you drop it. The casing around the light is rubber so it protects it. I keep it in my toolbox in the trunk of my car and after not having taking it out for several days, I took it out and it was charged and worked just fine. I purchased my first one for twenty bucks about two years ago, decided to buy another one and just recently purchased another one to give to my brother for Christmas but for much less than what I paid for the first two.

If you don't want to need batteries while camping, this is a great find for a great deal. Also has battery backup.

I started by buying one and tested it. I loved it so much, i ordered another 4 online. Great color choices! It gives as much light with the batteries than without! A light turns on when the solar is charging. It works with any source of light. In case of emergency, we'll be ready. And my 6 years old is enjoying having a flaslight working everynight at bedtime.

Very nice nice solar led flash light. Very bright. Feels good in hand. Was surprised by its easy to use feature and it's overall feel.

Incredibly bright flash light

I ordered two of these flashlights for my boys to use at bedtime. I already had one someone had given me. My boys often leave flashlights on and we were using so many batteries! So I love that these can recharge everyday with the solar. I don't have to replace batteries all the time or even do the work of recharging batteries. I just set these in a sunny window and they work again the next night. They're also so handy to have around for blackouts or camping. I would give this a 5 star rating, but I can't seem to get one of the new flashlights I ordered to charge with it's solar panel. The other two charge just fine.

I seen this flashlight online and checked the reviews. I also read the given info over it. It is a great product to buy and own. However 40 lumens isn't as bright as I thought it would be. I expected it to be slightly brighter, as a result, I gave an overall rating of 4/5 stars. All in all, I like that it is water proof, able to charged with solar light, and has a backup battery. I would recommend this product to a friend.

Great Solar Flashlight

Flash light does not work at all under the battery power or after being charged with the solar panel in direct sunlight for 3 days. Flashlight completely dead. Was excited to start using this product and very disappointed that it didn't work.

Totally dead, does not work at all, had to return

I just bought this today at the store. I'm checking out the battery area and first off, does it come with a battery that's dead or is that silver thing in there where the batteries sit? I can't get it (whatever it is) out so I'm assuming it's the bottom? Why then doesn't the packaging say, batteries not included?
Second, it's supposed to show an indicator that it's charging... I don't see one. It says it charges in any light source so no reason why it's not charging while I'm here in my house and it's dark outside.
So, it's not working for me what so ever and I'm very disappointed!
