I'm disappointed that the Weight Watchers point values were not included as they are on the Hungry Girl daily email recipes.

I have made many of Hungry Girl recipes and found that each and every one are delicious! The recipes help me to have a great variety of food, so that my weight loss is easier to maintain. I especially love the fact that the nutritional information is included with each recipe and makes it easier to figure out my Weight Watcher Points. Would highly recommend this book to anyone who is watching their weight or not. Extremely easy to follow directions and if a product is hard to find there is usually an HG Alternative.

  • The book does not have points. I have the WW app on my android phone which simplifies point calculations. The book does give the nutritional information necessary to calculate points for each dish. One gets the idea pretty quickly from watching the calculator that fiber offsets points added by fats and proteins. I suspect actual point values change over the years as the company tinkers with the program. This way the recipes will still be useful, though the points may vary slightly.

  • According to Lisa liilian herself from her book tour on this book the WW points are not included in the book in case in the future WW changes their point system. BUT you can go to her website, hungrygirl.com and she lists the current points plus for all the recipes in the book! Or you can input the stats that she lists into your etools if you are able and it will figure it out for you

  • They cannot give you the actual WW points, but they do provide all the information so that you can calculate it easily. I've gone through the book and calculated the points on the recipes I'm interested in trying. Pretty sure WW wouldn't allow them to use their name and point system directly.

  • Hi, the WW points are not listed, but it has the nutritional data and you could figure from that or I understand you can go to a page on Hungry Girl and the ww points are listed. I have not done this yet, my WW counselor suggested this. Good Luck

  • True, it doesn't list wwpoints, but all the numbers are there to calculate. My thought was if ww changes their point system then all the wwpoints in cookbook would be incorrect. My opinion is best to just list all the Fat, Carb, Protein, etc. and calculate.
