I love this bike! And although the directions left something to be desired, I was able to put this bike together in an evening. (Mostly would have been nice if they'd mentioned ahead of time the tools you would need; i.e. wrenches, hex screwdrivers, etc.) And the customer support was excellent when I realized I was missing a small part for the saddle bag.
I haven't been on a bicycle for years -- and I feel quite sporty when I'm out and about on it. I love the saddle bags - and also purchased a wicker basket - so I can haul my work items easily. This bike is very smooth riding and now that I'm getting into better shape, takes me wherever I want to go.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Pinky31 Great for more mature riders
I have not ridden a bike in 20+ years but I now live in a very bicycle friendly town so I decided to get one for fun and exercise. I am a plus size girl and this bike is very comfortable to ride. The gears make hills easier. The only thing I added was a wicker basket to the front. Between that and the saddle bags it makes going to the farmers market super easy. I also love the sea foam colour. My local store did not have this model in stock so I opted to have it shipped to my house. It was a little tricky to put together as the instructions were almost nonexistent. If you are not super handy with tools have WalMart put it together for free.

I thought they stopped making 3 speed bikes with coaster brakes. I have been looking for a used one for years. I was extremely happy when I found this bike. It's everthing I needed as a person who's not comfortable riding with hand brakes..

I grew up with a Huffy bike. I always looked at them as cheap junk. But 30 years later, this nostalgic beauty caught me! I researched online for 2 weeks for what I wanted within a certain budget. This one got me for the coaster brakes and 3 gears. I put it together myself (yes, I'm a girl) and it took about 1 to 1 1/2 hrs. You need an "everything" tool kit and the rest is common sense. The instructions that came in the box were simply USELESS! The main components are already assembled, so the rest is putting on front tire, seat, handle bars and the "little bits", etc. I carry quite a bit of groceries just fine in the side bags. I live in an urban city and parking a car is just a pain. For me, riding this bike is perfect. For the cost, I don't care if I scratch it up and bang it around. It's expected. I will easily compare this to my last bike, an Electra Townie that I paid $1200 for and this bike compares all the way around. I'm very happy with it and kudos to Huffy, they have done well. Oh yea, it arrived 3 days after I ordered it!

I purchased this for mothers day, when I put air in the tires Sunday morning one popped, the other had been installed backward.
Rated 5 out of 5 by nwrains Love this bike.. It's been 40 years since I rode a bike and this one was so easy. Walked it out of the store and took off through the parking lot. I'm 5'10" so I did have to raise the seat and the handle bars, but that was easy. Love the 3 speeds, works great for me. I've only has to use 2nd and 3rd.
Been riding every day and so glad I picked this bike. Saddle bags are great for quick trips to the store.
I get compliments on the bike and especially the color. Well worth the money!
Rated 5 out of 5 by No1complainer Love it !!!
I love the fact that it has the kick brakes but is a 3 speed so I can go up hills easier. The seat is actually comfortable and I am a plus size woman and 58 years old. If you are looking for something to get a little exercise, I would definitely get this bike. It is really great and a lot of fun to ride.
Rated 4 out of 5 by JuDavDr Color is TEAL (not light blue like in the pics).
After doing a couple weeks worth of research and comparison, I decided to purchase this bike based on the style, the reviews, the price, and the fact that it had 3 speeds (as compared to most cruisers which only have one).
The bike arrived in about two days, which was fantastic, and the only damage to the bike is a small puncture hole on the seat, which I will be calling Huffy about. Clearly not Walmart's fault, as it looks like it happened when Huffy was stapling their box shut. Some of the other little details aren't perfect, either, such as the decals being rumpled in a few spots, but I can live with things like that.
The most immediate thing I noticed was the color; it's not a light blue like in the photos. It's definitely a medium teal color, but I actually really like it so I'm not complaining. I was just surprised.
If you order this bike and you don't have a complete tool set, be prepared to pick one up in anticipation. Despite the fact that the bike comes mostly assembled, I must have used at least 7 different tools putting this bike together, including several Allen Keys, Socket wrenches, and screwdrivers. Putting it together while I watched TV it took about an hour and a half, and my husband did not need to help. This bike is fine to put together on your own, as long as you're confident using tools.
The seat is really comfy and big (necessary for my wide hips), the grips are squishy and attractive, and the saddle bag is actually must better quality than what I was expecting. The only real problem with the bike, other than the punctured seat, is the fact that the tires aren't fully inflated. As I'm still waiting on my bike pump to arrive, I can't really ride it just yet.
I'll update my review in the future if any problems arise while using it, but for now, this bike is super-cute, generally well-made, comfortable, and functional. I would recommend!
Rated 1 out of 5 by sweetandsour4 DO NOT BUY! VERY POOR CONSTRUCTION
My husband ordered this bike for me to be shipped to our house. The entire thing had wide, deep scratches all over it. Thinking it was a shipping problem we returned it to the store and ordered another one. The second one we got had a few chips in it and we were frustrated but decided to clear coat them and hope that it wouldn't rust. So we put it together. The front fender was completely warped with dents and kinks in it. The front tire was rubbing against the bike frame. We tried loosening it and adjusting to no avail. Turned out that it was the axle itself that was welded incorrectly. The right side was shorter than the left so that the tire was 1/4" from one side and 1" from the other when completely seated in the axle slots. Also the rack on the back was welded on crooked so that it was very slanted. It couldn't even be test ridden because the frame was so warped. Needless to say after fiddling with it we said forget it! There goes three weeks of waiting and hours of trying to make it work down the drain. I was really, really disappointed! I think it is very pretty and I really wanted the features it offered.

I really enjoy this bike. I've only had mountain bikes and now that I am an adult wanted a bike that was made for how I actually ride and more comfortable. Love that this bike has 3 gear options. The only down side I've really noticed is that it's a bit loud.
Rated 4 out of 5 by cmgawthorp93 Great Bike!
I wanted a cute cruiser to zip around town and go to the farmer's market. This turned out to be more than perfect. The fact that it's three speed will make hills easier (I live in flat Illinois though, mind you) and it looks amazing. The bags are canvas, but very sturdy and holds most of whatever I need. The seat is very wide and comfortable.
It arrived at my house in a couple of business days. The paint was unscratched, every part was included. The directions to assemble are terrible though. The black and white pictures are too small to really see what part is being referred to and the instructions are not descriptive enough to clearly explain step-by-step procedures.
I did get it put together however, and I love my bike. I can't wait for the weather to get warm enough to really ride.

My husband and I ordered the men's and women's bikes. We love them. They have a great wide seat, coaster brakes (which I really needed because I don't have good hand strength from surgery) and 3 speeds. I didn't know you could get coaster brakes and different speeds. These bikes are fantastic. And they have saddle bags! I had bought a Schwinn at another store and ended up taking it back when we found these. We had to ship site to store and it's Christmas. We picked them up on Black Friday. Those 2 things alone should have been a omen - BUT we had absolutely NO problems. They were at the store on Tuesday and ready for pick (put together) on Friday. My experience could not have been better!! LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT
Rated 5 out of 5 by 1961babydoll Overall, great bike! Just as advertised.
Looked at this bike for six months before actually buying, researched it as compared to single-speed and others, and checked it out on the Huffy site. I'm a plus plus size 51 year old who hasn't ridden a bike in at least 15 years and, for me, it's a great style/size bike with excellant features. The 3-speed shifter on the hand grip is so easy to use! I had a twelve speed back in the day and this is a dream to operate compared to that. The three speeds provide a good range for tooling around the neighborhood and the area bike paths. First allows you to get up the grades and little hills, while third gives you all the speed/power your legs can provide. Love the retro styling and color combo - makes me feel almost like I'm at the beach biking on the boardwalk!
Before buying, I read all the reviews and it seemed like many problems came from poor assembly at the individual stores, so I ordered mine delivered to my home. It came packed in a fairly large box (my box had taken quite a beating during shipping, but the bike/components inside were okay). Figured my husband and I could do it better (straighter, tighter, etc.) ourselves. Assembly was straight forward and easy if you have a few tools and can follow instructions. My only complaint is that the front wheel needed "truing" (small adjustments to the spokes) to get rid of a slight wobble. Other than that, it was just as advertised. Purchased the 3-year protection plan (just in case) because it also covers wear and tear, so we'll see what the next three years bring. Great buy!

This is a beautiful bike for someone who wants the old-fashioned pedal brakes. The added 3-speed is so helpful for hills too. Love the fact that it also comes with saddlebags and has the extension on the rear of the bike for longer tie-down items. I first saw the bike at my neighbors and they use the extension to tie down their beach chairs for a ride over the bridge to the beach. Overall, a very good deal for the price!! I'll be ordering another one to have at our summer home.

Rated 5 out of 5 by daySheba Wonderful well made bike
Easy to ride. Comfortable seat. I am 59 yrs young and feel like a kid riding this bike.
, that's how easy this bike is to ride. I can't stop wanting to ride it which is good. Had a schwinn once and didn't enjoy it. This bike is very well made. Can't wait to go to farmers market with it. I read reviews first, n they are all true. Except noise. It just sounds like there is a baseball card in spokes of wheel. Not loud. I think it sounds cool. Good job huffy!! The knob was missing to extend the rack. I called huffy, n no problem Tim is shipping me out one. So rhanx again huffy!! U made this young lady very happy!
Rated 4 out of 5 by abuela5 love the 3 speeds
I am a 54 year old woman. The 3 speeds work great for hills and I like the coaster breaks. Front and rear fenders are a bit flimsy but can remove them. I am happy with this bike.

I bought this bike for my wife. Fenders really had to be fixed since they rubbed on the tires while she rode. We noticed the seat was ripped when we took it out of the case. My wife was definitely not happy about that. All in all, she is very happy with her bike and absolutely loves riding it around showing it off. It is perfect for her since she didn't want a racing bike or a mountain bike. She got exactly what she wanted.

My fiance got this bike for my birthday, I wanted a cruiser bike for a comfortable ride around town instead of the heavy duty mountain bike I had before. I love the seafoam and brown colors. It is a very comfortable ride, smooth and easy, it doesn't take much effort to really get moving. The gears change really smooth and have no problems. I'm 21 and my family picks on me a bit for wanting a bike like this and say I look like a "grandma" and "mary poppins" (haha) while I ride it, but I don't care I think it's really cute and the ride is so smooth. The only complaint I have is the bike is a little noisy, it clicks and creaks a little while riding it but it's not too loud, you just can't sneak up on someone while riding it ;). But really overall it is a great bike and I love it!

I loved the looks of this bike, but it was hard to ride and the front wheel was warped. I returned the bike and went to a bike shop and purchased a Trek bike. I ride it daily. I couldn't get up the driveway with the Huffy, I can ride anywhere on the Trek.
Rated 4 out of 5 by bookwurm A cute ride for around town
I bought this bike to ride to work in the summer. It is very cute and I got lots of compliments on it.
It's one downfall is the seat. I've been using the bike for three weeks and find the seat very uncomfortable. My sister said I might just need to break it in, but I doubt that's it.
The hard part for me was getting used to coast breaks, instead of hand breaks, but that just took a few rides and now I'm fine. Fun little bike.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Dstluv Love the fact the it has gear changes.
The bike has the best of both worlds. It's a cruiser and has three speeds. It's also very stylish with a bag for storage.
Rated 5 out of 5 by ScootersMom2014 love it!!
This is the cutest bike I have ever seen! I added a pet basket for my pup and we have a great time together. The bike handles well, even with the added weight. The 3-speed gears are a life saver on the hills. Overall... I would rec this bike to everyone.
Rated 5 out of 5 by HappyHUZ Easy assembly, and shifts smooth out of the box--
The bike is perfect for my wife. No complaints for this price point and should do just fine cruising around.
THE ONLY ISSUE IS THE REAR RACK IS PERMANENTLY WELDED AND PREVENTS CHILD CARRIER TO BE INSTALLED. So we are having to hunt down a rack that fill fit-- we may just end up modifying a cheap used child carrier to work-- definitely a concern for those wanting to use a child rack--
other than that, great ride and best price we found for 3 speed and pedal brakes--
Rated 5 out of 5 by HappyPAGirl I LOVE this bike!!
I've been looking and looking for the perfect bike for me. I haven't ridden a bike in 30 years! I'm 45 now and wanted an easy to ride for pleasure type bike that was quality but not a ton of $$. I really wanted a bike with coaster pedal brakes and they are not easy to find! This bike has them, along with 3 easy speeds and it is just gorgeous! Love the saddle bags too! OH! And the "big butt" seat with springs! I am short and round and this bike couldn't be more perfect for me for functionality, ease of use, and it's beautiful! Well done Huffy!
Rated 5 out of 5 by CO7Sunrise Great retro bike at a great price!
I ordered it online, they texted me when it was ready to be picked up, I went in and was loading it into my car within 20 minutes. It was a great experience.
Rated 5 out of 5 by QueenOftheGreen As a 51-year-old female I had not ridden a bike for many years and was looking for something just to tool around on. We have wonderful bike trails where I live and I wanted to take advantage of them. This bike is perfect for that purpose! It's comfortable, and the saddlebags on the back allow me to take the bike for short trips to the store, or take my laptop and a lunch. It also looks nice, too. It is a bit difficult getting up hills, but I think that's more a matter of getting in shape physically. If you're looking for a bike for a relaxing ride or for running errands, you can't go wrong with this one!
Rated 4 out of 5 by AMSOILJOBBER Nice Bike would recommend bike to others. A bit slow on delivery.
Rated 4 out of 5 by SeattleShopper22 Love this bike!
The bike looks exactly like the picture and I love the sadle bags! The three speeds have worked great for getting around the little hills in my neighborhood. My husband rides a road bike, and I'm sure i couldn't keep up with him on a more significant ride, but we've been regularly riding 2-3 miles to grab dinner or ice cream, and the bike has been a perfect fit for my needs. Assembly was pretty easy, the only issue was that my seat was missing, however Huffy was easy to get a hold of and they sent a seat to me right away, so my only complaint is that I didn't get to ride my new bike right away.
Rated 1 out of 5 by Dragbag Poor quality
No directions, front tire dry rot and pulling away from the wire, could not get a matching tire, now have one white tire and one brown tire, difficult to steer even with tightning of bolts, would not purchase again but stuck with it.
