Awesome product I wasn't too sure about this product, because the display didn't work at one store, and was blurry at another. But I figured I would return this if it didn't look good.But it is an awesome monitor. Great color, vibrance, and depth. I use it as an extension of my desktop screen from my HP Vista laptop. No problems connecting it... Vista guided me through setting it up as an additional screen.So now, when I open something on my laptop monitor; I can drag the item over to the new monitor.I can edit photos on one screen, while having iTunes open on another. Dragging the windows around allows you to have more space; just as you would if you bought a bigger desk or table.Highly recommended, and I am picky. If the color and clarity wasn't good; I wouldn't be using it.In California, be prepared to pay an additional $16.00 for a recycling fee. Just the State making another buck off of you. 07/26/2009
Awesome!! I just bought this from my local Wal-Mart and I am VERY happy with it!!! VERY EASY to hook up, turned on super fast, very sleek looking with the widescreen and stand. My last monitor did not have built-in speakers so I was delighted that this one did, but was skeptical of how good the sound would be. The sound is GREAT! And it's great to have more desktop space w/o the additional speakers I had before!! For the price, I think this is a GREAT deal and would recommend it to any of my friends! 07/04/2009
Great Monitor!! I bought this monitor to upgrade from my old 17" CRT monitor. It was just taking up too much space.I wasn't sure how I'd like having a widescreen monitor since I have only used standard display monitors.All I can say is WOW! It is such a big difference and the clarity is wonderful.I chose this monitor above a 19" widescreen because the HP 2009m has the glossy finish on the screen as well as the framing and the 19" didn't. I have no issues with any glare. It must depend on the angle you have the monitor at.Another thing that made me want this monitor is the fact it has built in speakers. I love having the extra space on my desk because I don't need external speakers now. They may not be the loudest, this is true. But they are perfect for what I need. The sound quality is really not bad either. They sound nice. Not tinny.Overall I am very, very pleased with this monitor and have not regretted the purchase whatsoever. It exceeds my expectations by all means.Look no further if you want a great 20" LCD monitor. The HP 2009m is what you're looking for. 06/24/2009
More than I expected The HP 2009m LCD HD screen is much more than I had expected for the price of $148.00 at the store. My old screen had burnt out and I went to the store to find a new screen that was only $150.00 and I came across the HP, the price was right and the brand I knew because my printer, scanner and copier is a HP and work's great! The screen is nice and bright with a crystal clear picture that show's very vivid color's and the sound from the built-in speaker's is great. I am completely satisfied with my purchase. 08/07/2009
