[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toy is incredible!! It is engaging, fun, colorful, and very happy! The box it arrives in is big and for a brief moment you worry that it's going to be difficult and tedious to assemble… that is not the case! It is incredibly quick and easy to follow the well illustrated instructions to complete assembly. I appreciate that it has various set up options to add further interest and intrigue to this play set. The sound and light effects are interesting and fun, and declare a winner on the display to minimize arguments of which car actually won. A number is displayed and it's clear which car won! My only complaint was the track only comes with 2 cars, even though there are 5 lanes on the race track. It's an easy solutions… go buy more! Ha! Ha! But at this price point, providing a 3rd car would be a nice addition. 

My almost 7 year old has returned to play with this toy day after day! It's holding his attention and with the addition of a new vehicle set, he is captivated! Friends coming over to play are excited and engaged about this race track. It grabs and holds attention! Great toy, easy to assemble and loads of fun! Love the versatility of the track set up and the ability to use various vehicles to up the creativity and imagination! This is a winner!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My almost six year old was blown away by the  Hot Wheels Mario Kart Rainbow Road Raceway Set. He played with it for a solid two hours and fortunately it fit with his other Hot Wheels Mario Kart characters. The track is surprisingly close to the actual game with it's sounds and details. It is a huge set but not too difficult to take apart or set up. It's definitely the best set out of the Hot Wheels Mario Kart toy series. My son really can't get enough of the lights and sounds and how true to the actual game they sound. We definitely recommend!

Awesome set!

We are on our second track in less then a year. My twins wore out the start button to drop the cars. But 7 days a week 4+ hours a day playing with it I'd say I've gotten my monies worth out of it. Might by a 3rd and add the track together.

Kids can't stop after a year

I was surprised at the size of the toy and easy instructions of putting it together. Kids loved racing the cars since we are five in the family everyone got to pick a number. The track is versatile and changes into two different tracks was for sure fun for all.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Hot Wheels MarioKart Rainbow Road Raceway Set as part of the Play, Rate, Review program. 

This is an amazing toy for kids of all ages and adults!  
Assembly was quick and easy.  The decals are already in place.  IMPORTANT – you need 6 -AAA batteries – these are not included.  You will also need a good amount of space to set this up.  There are two ways to set up the track.  In the straight set up the track is 8 feet long.  In the curved set up the track is 40 inches long and 45 inches across.  In both configurations the track at its highest point is 27” high.

To begin you place the MarioKart Hot Wheels at the starting line at the top of the track.  You need to use the MarioKart Hot Wheels because not all regular Hot Wheels are heavy enough to make it down the track.  There are two vehicles included in the package – ours was Mario and King Boo.  You can race up to 5 cars at a time.  There are red and green lights and sounds that indicate the start of the race.  When you're ready to start, push the “mushroom head” and the cars race down the colorful tracks.  There are two options for racing -  one is just a race and the other has obstacles that pop up such as banana peel, a turtle shell, etc.  These obstacles stop the racer in that lane from finishing the race.  The finish line displays the winning track number.  Mario seems to win most often.  

My 5 year old grandson is having so much fun with this colorful track with lights and sounds!  This is something he will play with for a long time.  Adults enjoy this too and reminisce about playing the rainbow track in level in the video game.

Mario kart race track

Bought this on sale for $50. My 8 yr. Old loves this track. He's been playing with it for days now. This track is massive. Need a lot of room to store it unless your going to break it down each time.

Great track is massive, my son loves it!

Hoping it is what my 7yr. Granddaughter was wanting as it was so long of a box we had to open the box and pack the individual pieces into a suit case to take on the train.
 Covered part of the front of the box with birthday paper and placed it on top of the larger parts making it look better to present to her. 🙏🏻

Super Mario is a super large set

it was a great present for my brother for christmas but when we opened it we saw that one of the rainbow tracks was cracked! and i cant return it because its opened

Walmart needs to do better with packaging. I don't know if it left the warehouse this way, or got like this during delivery. But my box arrived filthy! covered in black grease. I tried wiping it, but it would not come off. Hopefully this wasn't a returned item, and everything is fine inside the box. How am I supposed to give this as a gift? Embarrassing.

It came without any car to use the race… very expensive toy to be incomplete, so annoying!
