Rated 5 out of 5★ by GottaLuvWmart Easy to Expand Disk Capacity I needed a solution to take some extra Hard Drives and put them to use to expand my overall hard drive storage. This item was easy to use and was quickly configured by my system. Saved me the cost of buying a new 750G drive by using two smaller drives. Directions and setup easily understandable. Well built and solid construction. Highly recommend. 08/04/2014
Rated 5 out of 5★ by sfpeter A good enclosure for older drives This is a pretty nice metal enclosure that keeps drives cool. You can either run it as two separate drives or as a spanned JBOD. As a spanned JBOD you have a maximum limit of 2 terabytes, or two 1 terabyte drives. As two drives each disc can be 1 terabyte. The other limit is USB 2.0. It's great for things you access in small pieces like pictures or music, but it's kind of slow now for mass data transfers like a system backup. Overall for what it it is this is a great enclosure. 05/31/2013
Rated 5 out of 5★ by KimberlyKTX Gave me back all my drives! My new computer did not have the ability to hook up all four of my hard drives, so I needed something that would allow me to get them back. I first looked at a drive enclosure that would allow me to swap out the hard drives, but when I saw this one that could hook up both drives simultaneously - I was SOLD! It was easy to install, I had just a tiny hick-up when Windows 8.1 was not seeing the drives for what they actually were - but it was a quick fix. I will warn you though, make sure everything from those drives is backed up because you have to format them to get them to be seen by the computer. Luckily I already had everything backed up and once I formatted them they were accepted and useable in minutes! I like the fact that you can actually turn the drive(s) off, I can turn it on when I want to back everything up and then switch it off until I need it again. LOVE IT! 05/15/2014
