<p>Clean your guns safely with this Hoppe's Universal Gun Cleaning Kit. This set works well for both shotguns and pistols. Included in this Hoppe's gun cleaning kit are a three-piece universal cleaning rod, five swabs, nine phosphor bronze brushes and four slotted ends. The phosphor bronze brushes are designed to effectively break up any gun residue deep inside the barrel without scratching. These brushes work well for guns ranging from .22 to 10mm as well as 12-gauge and 20-gauge guns and those with a .410 bore. The swabs help remove loose residue and polish the barrel. They are for use with 12-gauge and 20-gauge guns of multiple calibers. This kit provides you with tools you will use time and time again.</p>

No. Do not buy this. It is nothing but trash

According to the packaging it can be used on .22 - .30 Caliber Rifles, .22, 9mm - .38/.357 pistols. I am not familiar with the bore on a.380 but I would think that it would as I believe that it is smaller than a 9mm and about the same (I assume) as a .38/.357. Also,  it cleaned my 16 gauge shotgun. There are 5 Phosphor bronze brushes, 5 mops, 3 spear pointed jags.

Hoe this helps.

Will this kit work also for a .380 Ruger semi-auto pistol?

Yes. This kit has everything that you&#39;ll need to field strip and clean many calibers

For the price, I think it is one of the better basic gun cleaning kits out there. Has certain limitations in that will only handle rifles up to 30 cal., but includes solvent, oil, brass bristles, what they call jags, (plastic bore cleaners), patches and paper wipes for a final cleaning.

Hoppe along Mr. Clean

I bought one of these a while ago and worked excellent for me so I bought another for a friend for Christmas.

Gun cleaner

I like this kit for the number of bores that it'll clean (.22 , .30, 9mm, 10mm and shot guns. While it is a basic cleaning kit, it's cheap enough to take hunting in the field.

Good Product at a Cheap Price

What a deal for the money. I bought this one along with the Hoppes Pistol cleaning kit for $7...combined, you have it all. This one doesn't come with the slotted rod tip. The pistol kit does.

Most of the negs here are about it lacking a case.  The kit itself is well stocked but I would consider it a starter kit.  So for me it was perfect.

I would give this product 5 stars except the packaging is terrible. It took me about 20 minutes to get into the package as I was trying to save the clear front to reseal. This became impossible due to the fact I had to cut it with scissors.  Now I have no way to keep the items secured in place properly.

 I appreciate the fact that is was a reasonably priced item, but it seems to me that Hoppe's could come up with a more user friendly package that doesn't try one patients just to open.

I would not recommend to a friend because of this packaging issue.

My problem with this kit is that once open you will have to find something to keep all the loose parts in.

Good starter kit but..

This product is not carried. Its been replaced by a Chinese knockoff that is a POS using the same item number.  Poor quality components that disappointed
