We bought this because we have 2 children. A girl that is 7 months and a very active and sometimes messy 2 year old son. It was a pain getting out the broom, dust pan, vacuum, towels or anything else we needed to use to clean up after eating. This is the only thing we grab now and it has made life SO much easier. It has NO problems cleaning up crumbs, spills, wet or dry food. The suction power is VERY impressive for such a small product. (It's the same size as any other hand vac, but works just as good as our upright vacuum.) It is a little loud, but for the power and quickness of it being used, it is well worth putting up with for a few seconds. It doesn't weigh much at all and being cordless is so nice. (Wouldn't have bought it if it had a cord). Don't worry about wasting your money cause you won't be wasting it by buying this.

I would recommend this small Hoover vacuum. The performance of the suction and picking up lint, dirt, and hair is very good. It has a removable filter that can be washed out and reused.

I've had some bad luck with handvacs, so I wasn't sure if, at this price, this one would be any different. Boy, was I surprised! It is lightweight, easy to store out of site, has good suction and seems to hold a charge well. It's easy to clean out. Hoover always comes through, so don't let the low price fool you!

    • No charging light and the each is just a holder. He holder has a place holder for the charger to stay tight as if it were part of the rack though.

    • It does not having a charging light. I usually just leave it on the charger all day. It's an actual charger mount. You nail it to the wall- already plugged in then slip your vac on to it to charge.

    • No light. The holder is a charging base that hangs if you prefer. I just set mine on the floor to charge. You actually hang/set down the base and the power cord is within the base. It does not come out...the plastic base could be broken to separate it from the cord it you just want a charging cord and not a plastic base for hanging on a wall.

    • I have not seen a light on mine although I wish it had one. If it had one I would've known I didn't have it plugged in properly the first time so it didn't charge and thought I had a lemon. The wall mount holds the charging plug (which can be removed if you don't want to use the mount). Also the wall mount has a place in the back of it to wrap up the excess cord before you hang the bracket so it's how hanging loose.

    • there is not a charging light. The rack is a charging base and holder. There is a little prong at the top and you slide the vac into it. This charges it while it is hanging there.

    • This one does not have a charging light. I do miss that but this is worth the $ and the light is not really needed. The rack is a charging base that holds the vacuum while it is not being used (which is most of the time). You attach the charging base to a utility wall or desired wall space preferably somewhat close to an electrical outlet and plug it in. All the hardware items are included.

    • No, it does not have a charging light. It has a wall mountable base that the unit hangs from - the cord is always connected to the base.

One of the reviewers mentioned a short charge time. Also the edge seems blunt, can it be used in crevices? I would appreciate if one of the buyers could clarify.

    • 3 inches and mine works great in crevices and the edge is blunt

    • Regarding using the nozzle in tight spaces, forget about it. I bought one for the purpose of vacuuming my cars, but it won't get that job done. There is not enough suction, even fully charged, and the nozzle is very blunt, and will not fit in those places that really need vacuuming. It is no substitute for a shop vac with a skinny nozzle, trust me.

    • I have an old house with wood floors with some spacing issues in a 5x6 ft space. It's powerful enough to suck out crumbs and debris from between the cracks but after this 5 min task it needs a recharge. It's not pointy for corners. It recharges pretty quickly - hour or so? I can set it on the charger and sweep another area and get enough charge 5 min later to get my little pile up but it's not back to strong yet.

    • When I first tried mine I was horribly disappointed. It had no suction and lasted all of 30 seconds and I had it on the charger all night.....er so I thought. I found out that I had not plugged it all the way in so it hadn't charged at all. I have since rectified this error and have no complaints on the suction and length of charge. Crevices: The nose is blunt and the opening smaller than other handvacs I've owned (but not really different than the tiny nozzle attachments you may have used on other brands.) I was disappointed at first. I now realize that this was the trade off for better suction needed to pick up liquids well...which also helps it pull gunk out of crevices without having to add an attachment.

    • After initial 10 hour charge - it never runs out of juice! It's always "full". Crevices - no, not THE BEST there, but - OK

    • The vacuum stays charged for at least 7-8 minutes of straight use but seems much longer because when you quit vacuuming to do other things and pick it up again later it is still revved and ready to go on the same charge. I have yet to run mine down and I did try..I vacuumed steps, litter box, around my baseboards and it just keeps going. It has no attachments and is not the best tool for tight crevices but does very nicely around my baseboards and in the corners.

    • It works pretty good in crevices because it has so much suction power. Stairs and baseboards are no issue.

    • It really does have a short usage time, considering that I leave it on the charger when not in use. I get about 10 minutes of usage, but I use it to clean up after my kids so I think it works perfect for my needs. As far as getting into crevices, it actually does a great job. It's not going to do as good as a vacuum with the hose attachment but it does great for general cleaning. Hope this helps you.
