The extension wands lock together and extend the length of the hose. Crevice tools are used for cleaning the nooks and crannies. Dusting brushes are used for molding, shelving, and lampshades. The allergen filtration paper bag traps 99% of dusts and pollens, offering both safety and hygiene.

Rated 5 out of 5 by BarbB3 Very efficient Bagged vacuum cleaners are the best. This one was very inexpensive but does a great job on low carpet, thick rugs and vinyl flooring. I had a bagless before and it was a constant battle emptying all the time. This vacuum pulls itself, though not self-propelled. I am very pleased. 03/03/2011

Rated 5 out of 5 by Dobsonion Fantastic Value! Consumer Reports rates this vac near the top, and I have to agree. With 3 long haired cats and carpet, we have a huge need for a good vac. The previous Dyson DC-07 needed three passes to get clumps of cat hair. This Hoover just needs one pass. Also, the Dyson's beater bar would clog up with hair. This Hoover gets the hair into the bag. Speaking of bag, we are moving from bagless back to bag. It's fine.On the negative side, you have to know that this vac has no shutoff for the beater bar. It rotates on bare floors. So it's critical to raise to that setting. Gets loud doing bare floors with that bar rotating. Also, the Hoover is plasticky, and the attachments are cheap. But for the price, I am happy. 02/22/2011
