I love my new Hoover Platinum carpet shampooer, it is everything it claims to be and more.The price I paid for it from Walmart was really reasonable for the type and performance of this machine, delivery was right on time (maybe even a day or two early). Thank you Hoover and Walmart. 02/03/2012
My order arrived one day faster than I was told. I was replacing another brand of shampooer. The Hoover is much easier to clean up. And since it has 2 sets of spinning cleaning brushes, it picks up the knap of the carpet more than the other brand. I've cleaned the all the rooms that have carpeting, and it seems to clean better than the other brand. Overall I think I will like this shampooer much better than the other brand. 01/28/2012
Wonderful cleaner. I had a lower priced Hover and sent it back. It leaked and did not meet my needs. The Platinum is wonderful!! Yes it is all plastic ,but looks very durable. It's true you get what you pay for. I am very happy with my purchase. 01/21/2012
DONT BUY I received this as a Christmas gift. Today was the first time I have used it. It did a wonderful job while it worked. The dirty water tank light would not go off after emptying the tank. I called customer service and they told me they have been having issues with this and are trying to figure out how to fix the problem. This is a huge disappointment to me as I love the Hoover brand. It's the only vacuum and carpet cleaner I will buy. I would wait until they have the sensor issue fixed before buying this machine otherwise you will be like myself and returning the product or taking it to get repaired. I will be returning mine as I have seen other reviews saying the constant repairs. 01/03/2012
