The Hoover Max Extract Dual V WidePath Carpet Washer can transform your house into a sparkling clean abode. It digs deep and extracts even the most stubborn dirt and grime from your carpets. The regular use of this extractor vacuum cleaner ensures that you will never have to spend money on hiring heavy duty cleaning equipment for an annual spring cleaning. The Hoover SteamVac dual-V widepath carpet cleaner also saves on time. The rotating brushes will lift up dirt quickly even as the dual-V nozzle quickly mops up the dirty water from the carpet. The widepath nozzle features six brushes allowing you to cover more of the carpet in a shorter time. Even as you clean, the gadget blows hot air onto your carpet, drying it and making it ready for use. The vacuum cleaner features two tanks that keep the clean and dirty water separate. An automatic system will mix the detergent making usage easy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Sammyshark Good but not great I had a Hoover for six years and I loved it. When we decided to buy a new one we stayed with Hoover. The machine worked great when I did the floors, but when I used the attachment it started leaking. It was also leaking from the bottom of the machine. 11/25/2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by BabyShpper42 Worked well This machine worked well for the first use, that is all I've used it for so far. Pre-treating heavy stains is a must, but that is likely with most. Good suction. The only thing I didn't like was how often I had to empty the dirty water and refill the fresh water. Again, to be expected. My real interest in this product is the access to and removal of parts for cleaning, which I have not done yet. If you have owned a cleaner before you know that the brushes get mucky and the clear area where the water is sucked up starts to clog with sand/dirt. Both these are removable and cleanable on this machine! 11/22/2012

Rated 5 out of 5 by Quaoptic Excellent Carpet Cleaner.. After repairing the older Bissell the third time, we researched an alternative and found this model of Hoover. Purchased after reading dozens of reviews from Walmart.com and various other websites.The cleaning power of this model is unlike anything I have owned in a carpet shampooer in years past. Excellent cleaning power and its ability to remove nearly all the water from the carpet is remarkable. The carpet is dry about 15-30 minutes after cleaning. This unit removed soils and apparently soapy residue from my previous shampooer with little effort.Given it's price point this is a great device. The dual tank system takes some getting used to but like any new appliance there is a learning curve. The separate tanks are easy to manage and the soap auto-mixing feature is fantastic. You can wash and rinse an area only having to cover an area once.I also have the Hoover hard floor cleaner and this model has a similar brush design. an oscillating design rather than a spinning wheel with bristles.Like many Hoover products they work very well but the attachment/accessory storage leaves a little to be desired. Cannot speak for longevity of this model as yet, but we have cleaned approx 1k sq ft of carpet so far and it seems like its just breaking in.If you question which model to buy, We would give a thumbs up to this model. Walmart.com has fast shipping and delivered quickly in decent condition. 11/12/2012
