I purchased two of these fans to be used in my cubicle at work. One to help cool a two processor work station and the other to move some air in a stuffy area. The fans put out plenty of air at the lowest setting and run very quietly. They were a good purchase.

I bought this as an exhaust fan for our rec room. The nice thing about this one is you can aim it any where from straight out to straight up. It really surprised me on the amount of air it will move for such a small size.

Or does that mean you can just position it?

    • you can tilt up/ down but its not oscillating fan.

    • Does not oscillate. Up and down fan position can be adjusted and locked tight into place.

    • It does not oscillate. What is meant by the statement is simply that you can tilt the direction like straight out or upward. Warm air rises and cold air falls, so if you are wanting to maximize the cooling of a room, it would be best to position the fan as near to a supply register as possible then point the fan into the center of the room.

    • No, it does not oscillate, nor can you point it angled down towards the floor; just straight ahead or up. I was a little surprised by that, but it has not been a problem.

    • No it does not oscillate but it can be moved up and down. Great fan, I love and would call it an air circulator.

I like the fan. It puts out a lot of air. But how on Earth are you supposed to clean it? I can't find anyplace where it would come apart so I could clean the blades and cage.

    • 4 screws are on the back side of the Grill, recessed in. Yes, not visible at first glance :)

    • Back of the cage there are 4 screws. Unscrew and front cage will come off

    • It doesn't. Only the front grill detaches and that is why I've already returned it.

    • I took mine apart last month. There are 5 or 6 tiny Phillips head screws around the front shroud, and once those are removed, cleaning the blades and interior is fairly easy. I hope this helps.

    • The front grill can be removed by turning it counter clock wise. With the fan unplugged, simply put your fingers into the indentations on the face and turn. DON'T PUSH HARD and the face should come off in less than one full turn.

    • In the description of the fan it states, "With a removable grill, you can clean the fan without breaking a sweat." Forget the Q-Tips and Pipe Cleaners.
