Honeywell QuietCare 9.0 Gallon Console with Air Washing Technology 18 20
We have this humidifier in our bedroom and it works great! The room was around 20% humidity, and this humidifier keeps it right around 48% on the lowest fan setting. We have a pretty large bedroom and we keep the door open always, and it does a great job. We had tried a smaller humidifier first, and it only raised the humidity level a couple percent, running at the highest setting constantly. With this humidifier, once the room reaches your desired humidity level, you turn the moisture setting down until it clicks off - then it will maintain that level in your room. We leave the humidifier always on, with the fan on the lowest setting. We have it next to our bed and have no trouble sleeping. It's not silent, but it's pretty darn quiet. With the smaller humidifier, I had difficulty sleeping with it on - not the case with this one. We refill the tanks each night. 03/08/2012
Worth the Price The humidifier takes care of all my bedroom (1100sqft) and has greatly reduced my allergies and I breathe better at night. I have learned that I can set it at the lowest setting and it still gets the job done. It shuts off automatically when there is enough moisture in the room and then restarts when the moisture has dropped. It also shuts down automatically when the tanks are empty. I should have purchased this a long time ago. It replaced a ReliOn humidifier that I should have used in a much, much smaller room. 02/27/2012
Excellent Whole Home Humidifier I already had this humidifier at my home in Canada. Hard to find humidifiers in Arizona would you believe! This model is very quiet and the water tanks are easy to fill. For the price you can not beat it. It has done its job and increased the humidity in my home to a comfortable level. 02/03/2012
