    Customer Product Reviews

    Rated 4 out of 5★ by 68reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5★ by Very Nice Heater I purchased this heater about a month ago (I'm a college student) because what my roommates consider to be a warm temperature (65 degrees in Pennsylvania during the winter) I consider to be a very cold temperature. I prefer my room to be about 75 degrees so I was in need of a good space heater. I decided on a convection type heater simply because they are quiet and in my opinion just as efficient if not better than the fan type heaters. I went to my local walmart and picked this heater up and the first night I turned it on I was amazed at how well it performed. The temperature reading on the front reads both the current room temperature and changes to read the desired (set) temperature when you press the button to change it. The desired temperature can be changed in 4 increments of 65,70,75, and 80. If you set it to one of those temperatures the heater will turn on/off as needed to keep the room at that desired temperature. There are also two other temperature settings, you can set the heater at: Lo or Hi which basically all that does is instead of causing the heater to kick on/off to maintain a specific temperature it simply stays on constantly at 900 watts (for Lo) or 1500 watts *I believe (for the Hi) setting. So in short basically you can choose a power level (Lo or Hi) to keep it running constantly or you can simply choose one of the desired temperature settings and it will kick on/off to keep the room at that temperature. It was packaged pretty well in the box and assembly was very easy with the included instructions. The timer function is also useful on it as you can set the timer to either 2,4,8, or 12 hours. I use this all the time in case I forget to turn the heater off when I leave for class in the morning, it will eventually shut itself off. For your reference, my room is about a 12'x12' room and if I run this heater at the maximum power setting, it can get my room hot to the point where you'll start sweating literally. When I start it up it only takes about 30-45 minutes to get my room to a comfortable temperature. Finally in conclusion, I would say I am very satisfied with this product and I would certainly recommend it. 11/12/2013
Rated 4 out of 5★ by Good heater for the money. Last night I bought this heater for use to heat my bedroom in a house that has central air. The room is the coolest in the house year round.I wanted a heater to do a few things:1: Quiet (4.5 out of 5) only because it creaks and crakles a bit when it is heating up.2: Efficient: (?-5) I can't really say how it will impact my utility bill, but it is designed with a thermostat that you can set to a desired temp and it will come on and off to keep the space at that temp. I have always been skeptical of units with a built in thermostat, how could that possibly get an accurate read. For example I set the thermostat at 70 and it was still freezing cold in the room, so I bumped it up to 80 and it was comfortable with flannel pajamas on.3: Heat a 12' x 14' room: (5 of 5) It did not heat the room to a level of comfort in 20-30 minutes like the manual stated, but it is a radiant heater. It did take a while, but it worked well in less than an hour, and it didn't have to stay on long when it switched on to maintain the level of comfort in the room.4: Value: (4-5) It wasn't as cheap as some of the noisy fan propelled heaters and it wasn't as much as the quartz or infrared heaters but quiet was the main thing for me. We have another heater (just like the Sunbeam Electric Tower Quartz Heater, Sun-Like Radiant Heat, SQH310-WM1-115) and it works great too, but it is noisy when it kicks on and lights up the whole room, often waking my wife or myself.Note: the manual stated that you should have the heater 3' from any wall or furniture, which means the the heater is going to need 6' of your room. YIKES, while I understand their legal need to say that, I put the heater at least 1 1/2' from anything and the surfaces were not warm to the touch in the morning. I would say, excercize caution and test it out to ensure safe operation. Of course, don't leave it unattended, turn it off when you are out of the house, etc. 12/01/2013
Rated 1 out of 5★ by Poor performance I would never buy this heater nor recommend it to anyone. This heater just stop working after one year. 02/25/2013
Rated 4 out of 5★ by Great zone heating. I have been using a Honeywell radiator heater for years. I like how quietly convection heating works . The only issue I have is with the preset temperature choices. 11/19/2013
Rated 5 out of 5★ by Great easy to use heater. I have purchased one of these each year for the past three years. All three if them work great. I have almost quit using my central system. They are safe accurate and reliable. 01/10/2013
Rated 5 out of 5★ by Product was extremely easy to set up. Heats up fairly quickly and the temperature setting are great. The heater holds the temperature to whatever the user has set. Heats up a fairly largearea. Would buy another one if needed. 01/28/2013
Rated 5 out of 5★ by Great Price for the square footage it covers. I am very happy with my purchase so far it does exactly what it claims. This winter will tell me how much savings I will make,I just moved to a colder climate and do not care for the electric wall heaters so I am sure I will be very happy with this heater. I have always liked electric radiator heaters and am looking forward to trying this new digital one out. The shipping was Great got it in three days! 10/29/2013
Rated 5 out of 5★ by wonderful heaters I bought this heater 6 years ago and today it finally died. I'm purchasing another to get ready for our winter here in the mountains. This heater not only heated one bedroom but two very comfortably without causing a high electric bill. I live in a very old home thats not energy efficiant and needed something to keep us warm on rigidly cold nights. I have tried other brands before that didnt last or heat nearly as well. 10/17/2013
