Though it had a 12 V DC outlet,but it doesn't. This is a replacement for an OLD generator that only had 2 plugs and we just went through the big storms here in NJ, and it wasn't big enough to do the job, so I sold it and got this one. It should handle the entire house if we are smart about what we have running at the same time.I put locking caster wheels on the front in place of the rubber feet that came with it so I could toe it around up and down the driveway so I could use an Elec. lawn curb edger. My driveway is near 100 yards long and I have a bad hip and this makes it easier for me to move it around.So far it works great ,but I wish it had a 12 V. DC outlet like a lot of other generators have . They come in handy for a lot of things like jump starting the mower if the battery dies,and other 12V items like ,lights,airpumps,car vacum, and many other 12V items.I needed to pump up a low tire on my old pickup way out back that only gets used a few times a year to clean up the yard and bring fire wood to the house from the woods. I had to carry a battery charger with a 12V outlet with me to opperate a 12V air-pump. A bit of a pain if you have trouble getting around.If I ever get a differant one I'll go for the Elec. start also, with a 12v outlet.Haven't used it for the whole house yet,still waiting for a Transfer Switch to be installed.Big V form New Jersey 10/14/2011
Great Generator I shopped around and did alot of research on generators. I already own a 6000watt proforce generator and it is a great generator. I purchased this honeywell for our cabin, I was very impressed on the quality of workmanship. This generator is built very well,from the handle's all the way down to the pullcord. It is also very quiet compared to my other generator. 68db at 20 ft, with a full load. That is very quiet for a 6500watt generator. The assembly took me 15 min from box to running. I put a full house load on it to test it and it ran beautfully..I will be buying another one to replace my loud proforce generator.. Great Generator, Great Price.. No shipping cost if you pick up at the store!! A++++++ 11/24/2011
It started up first pull, generater is not as noisey as i thought it would be. Havent used it to much yet. Order over internet and shipped to local store, It came in sooner than expected. 11/28/2011
