Rated 1 out of 5 by ShopsTooMuch26 Cheap Table I was very excited to receive these tables. I ordered 2 for my living room. When I picked the tables up from my local store I put them together the same night. I was so disappointed in the quality of these tables. These tables are probably made out of the cheapest wood ever. For the price of $30.00 I wouldn’t buy them. In my opinion these tables are worth about $10.00. I was afraid to even put a lamp on them, that’s how cheaply made they are. I took these tables back for a refund. 03/01/2010
Rated 4 out of 5 by treasurehunter123 rustic a great priced side table and easy to assemble, but the wood is so soft and light weight. i'm afraid for it to break. i liked the idea of the removable tray but since the wood is so delicate, i don't even use it. it's visually pleasing (looks really good in my living room). very World Market style. 03/01/2010
Rated 4 out of 5 by Riss82 Surprisingly light, but looks very nice. I didn't realize the table would be incredibly light. the wood feels like it is about the same weight as styrofoam, seriously! That isnt good or bad, it just was surprising. This table is definitely the kind of item that makes a very pretty addition to a room; we are using ours (we have 2) to hold decorative plants and vases. If you want to use it as a functional item, it may not be up to the job. The tray on top is also super light, and seems like it would break if you put anything weighing more than a few pounds on it. Definitely not a breakfast-in-bed type tray, but great when it's just for looks!as we were putting the tables together, we were sitting in a warm room with the fireplace on; my hands started to feel slightly sweaty, and the stain from the wood leeched off onto my hands. this wasn't like, puddles of water... it was too little to even be a drop. So, i can extrapolate this to mean avoid wetting the tables unless you are ok with dark-brown getting all over your floor. so... maybe not a good item to have where water could get spilled.once done and put together, they were just barely above knee-high, which was the perfect height to have a decorative accent on in a random corner, and the table is small enough across to keep it from being obtrusive. 04/24/2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by Luvabuy Fine for the price Hey, this is not "fine furniture", but that is to be expected for this price. It certainly serves my purpose for a side table in a little used space. It is, btw, strong enough to hold a lamp & a plant. I plan to do a black "paint-rub" on it to go with my decor, but, it is fine just the way it is. The "tray" part is rather "cute" & I may just use that part seperately. This is one of those "use your imagination" type purchases...all in all...worth $30 bucks. 03/21/2010
