    Pretty heavy piece This is a beautiful platter but my concern is how heavy it is BEFORE anything has been placed on it. I ordered TWO thinking it would be nice to have an extra for extra serving piece, but returned one because it is so heavy. WOW--I don't think I could pass is around the table--it's also large and rather cumbersome.But it's very pretty and sitting on the table would be fine. An excellent addition to the dishes, especially esthetically. 03/02/2010
