Rated 2 out of 5 by kccollinz Bazaar Red Alright! The red is NOT red! If anything an orange-red. Even the female clerk called it a "weird orange," which did not work for my motif. The colors were not nearly as deep or rich as pictured (cheap glaze look. I looked all the boxes I ordered to see if I got a bum box). The cup & bowl were of generous size & should function well; however the plates had a very shallow curvature and nothing more like to control sauces, gravies or food from spilling off. I seem to be drawn to anything but the typical round plates, so I know that the curvature or rim of a plate plays a very important part into the enjoyment & function of your dinnerware. For this reason alone it almost renders them as high maintenance. Wouldn't want to grab one of these and eat in front of the TV, that is for sure. Very disappointing on all fronts. 12/14/2010

Shipping to my local is a great practice. "Kudos" to whoever came up with that deserves a pat on the back The fact that shipping is free is also a good idea. I've had it in use for several weeks, haven't had any chipping, perfect weight also, thought it might be heavy, but no, it's just right. The brown side of the plate has a matte finish to it, the color has a high shine. The salad plate is perfect for lunch, and we love the size of the bowls, cereal , salad or ice cream. Should we talk about the value of the price? Hello! It''s a steal of a deal! Couldn't believe it cost less "online". I purchased two sets. Go Wal-Mart! I imagine this elsewere for $$$$$$$$ more. 11/30/2010
