A Great Buy After reading other reviews I decided to go ahead and order this product online. It's always risky to order something sight unseen-that is not going to be easy to return. This product is very well made for a flat pack/assembly required piece. It will take some time to put together, but I did it by myself in about 2 hours. Once together it would be very difficult for some one to guess that it was from Walmart. It looks great and is very sturdy. I love that the shelves are all reversable-can be either wine rack or not. The only thing I'm at all concerned about is the finish, but only time will tell if it will hold up. As some one else commented-the two drawers could be a bit more butch, but over all it's a great deal. 04/03/2010
High Quality Beautiful Piece! I've been searching for a black buffet for a space in my kitchen for several years...the combination of hardwood in a contemporary design is rare! After committing to purchasing one (that I wasn't in love with) for $1500 at 'the barn', I found this online. I was very skeptical. That said, I couldn't be happier. It's very solid, has a lot of room, and looks beautiful. No problems with shipping or packaging. For final product, 5+++++ stars! That said, it is not easy to put together. I had someone do it for me who is a retired interior contractor and cabinet maker, and it took several hours and he became frustrated a few times! If assembly is your "thing" or you know someone who can assemble complex pieces, then I highly recommend this. It's more beautiful (and unique) than the $1500 alternative I found! So happy with this purchase! 12/18/2011
