Great Table Set This is a beautiful dining table and chairs set. The wood is as shown in the picture. This is NOT a light weight set. It is HEAVY and very well made. The chairs are big and have amble seating room for those big guys. I like the fact that the seat is full and your legs are not dangling off a seat that is too short. I would recommend this set highly. It is made to last a long long time. 5 Stars from me!! 10/17/2007
I LOVE this Dining set! For over a year, I have been shopping for a pedestal table. I had a hard time finding one that is not too big or too expensive. I live in an apartment, and the dinning area opens up to the living room. The set is very handsome and sturdy. It adds elegance with out dwarfing my space, and very practical too. I love round tables it just brings the family and those that dine with you closer. I was very shocked at how well made and heavy it is. The chairs are wonderful, they are big, sturdy and comfortable -- for the big guys, and big that my tots will not slip off. Easy to assemble, I assembled it myself. This is a piece that well be around for a very long time, and have more than one use. The chairs are handsome enough to sit on their own in a hallway or a bedroom. And the dinning table can be used in a large parlor or large living room as a center piece.Great buy for the money!! And one that well save me money as it well last.Thank you Walmart:) 12/06/2007
looks great but not great wood Although I am pleased with my purchase, I find that the wood quality is not that great. My toddler spills water on the table all the time and on the second day I noticed that there were bumps on the surface were the wood was starting to peel. I have to use a water resistant cover or material. Otherwise the set looks great and I am happy with it. 04/05/2008
