Get what you pay for This is not a stable piece of furniture that could withstand children. However, if you need a compact desk to hold your computer (and not much else) this will fit the bill! It does wobble if leaned against or any pressure is put on it. It's composite wood and plastic. But for a student that needs compact desk area, it's perfect. 05/29/2010
