Great Air Purifier It may be a bit noisy but it really sucks the dust and such out of the air and blows purified air out of the top to keep the air circulating. I like that it has the 2 filters with the first one catching the larger particles before going through the HEPA. I just rinse the stuff out of the larger first filter about once a week. It's easy to care for and I got 3 extra sets of filters when I bought the air purifier. I'm very happy with this air purifier. 11/27/2011
Purchased to use due to recent allergy problems with family member, to date has performed well. Use it on 2nd speed to keep noise level down, but this is only a personal choice as it is not really a problem. Can't wait until Spring to see how effective it is with pine pollen. Our current problem was pet hair and dander. Works well with a humidifier as recommended by the family doctor. 02/21/2011
Got 3 units While it is true this unit's fan noise is loud, the performance meets my expectation and it truly keeps the pollen and dust level down in the house. You need to keep an eye on the nasties that are in the filter. When the filtered air begins to smell funny, it is time to change the filters. I'm satisfied enough to have 3 of these units from Holmes. 02/10/2012
