nice i actually bought this for my cats! they love running water and they seem to enjoy it so far 03/14/2011
small room size I ordered this to put atop a gel-fuel fireplace (ha! fake fire, fake fountain! 21st century living for you!!!) while I'm typing at my computer. I'll be writing children's books then, so I'm really after creating manageable ambiance while I'm trying to keep up with my characters. The fountain is smaller than a seedless watermelon, but on half speed, it still manages to create the blurrble I was looking for. I wish it was more colorful and you only get a handful of rocks, but I had some of those glass rock-ettes you put in the bottom of fishtanks, so I used those and they work fine. I bought a clear planter saucer to put underneath it to protect the wood in the crackling fireplace just in case it splashes, although I haven't observed it to do that yet. I think it would if I turned it up any higher, however. I'd say it was worth the money. My cat, who loves the running, drippy water I intentionally leave in the bathtub spigot, is fascinated by the fountain. Seems to think mommy bought her another Cozy toy! 06/08/2011
Great gift I purchased this as a birthday gift, for a friend of mine who is disabled. My main concern was whether or not he would be able to hear the water. I'm happy to report that he could. The fountain is much more attractive than the picture represents; however, we did add a few more rocks to give it a little extra umph. 09/20/2011
