NO. You can only hear the sound of the motor running (not very relaxing at all)

You can adjust the water sound with the rocks. I find the sound of running water stressful in the house. I make it have no sound. You can make it a loud trickle if you like by moving the rocks.

this waterfall is soooooo cute!!!...i purchased it a couple weeks ago and i always have it on. the lights on it at night are amazing and the motor is very quiet you just have to make sure u put enough water in it. great product. I bought one for my boyfriend to recently

We were looking for an electric water fountain for our cat because she drives us crazy meowing for us to turn on the faucet in the bathroom sink. After researching all the pet fountains they were very ugly and expensive.

I started looking at small fountains on eBay and ran across this one for a total of $28 with shipping. I then did a search on Google to see if I could purchase it locally and I found it for $15 on Walmart.com. I was also able to pick it up in Walmart later that afternoon, even though it showed it was not available in the store.

Our cat loves the fountain and drinks out of it all the time. I clean it once a week and add about 2 cups of fresh water to it everyday.

I ordered mine a week ago. And I just got it two days ago. That was quick shipping for sure. It was very easy to put together. I didn't even need to use the instructions. It's has the perfect amount of pressure for the water, so the sound isn't to high or to low. It's soothing and relaxing. I also love how it doesn't take up to much room.
