This product is a classic and truly deserves this status. Absolutely lives up to its reputation. Just ask my girlfriend. She could not believe how effective it is.

I have used a variety of massagers over the years and the Hitachi Wand is right up at the top of this list(along with one or two others). I've owned one for several years and it is still going strong and provides relief in just minutes. It is a little more expensive than some of the other massagers, but it is worth the money.

I have read several reviews from different websites and most of them spoke very well about this product. My review is to simply claim that this product works as well as everyone says it does. While browsing around for best price to pay, this site has the lowest AND it provided extra savings that I was able to use in addition. My wife and I will enjoy using this product now and in the future.

This massager is worth the extra money; it is powerful and sturdily built. Lives up to its reputation!

Can this device be used in Australia where we have 240V? Also would the warranty be valid<

  • A. Look locally for the Medisil Magic Touch Massager as that is the 240v version of the Hitachi. But to answer your question directly, no the 110v version cannot be used with 240v supplies

  • A. Only with the proper adapter, similar to the ones people use in Europe to adapt American 120 volt AC devices. The warranty should still be valid

  • A. It says 110-120V on it but I imagine you could get a step down adapter and switch it to the appropriate voltage for your North American electricals. Hope this helps

  • A. With the proper adapter I don't see why you couldn't use it anywhere. As far as the warranty goes I am not sure if it would be valid or not but the massager does tend to last a LONG time.

  • A. I am not an official from Hitachi, but I believe the device could stand 240v for short periods of time. It would definitely void the warranty if it overheated and caused damage to itself. It would be well-worth using a transformer to run the vibrator within its normal voltage range. The problem is that the vibrations would be almost twice as strong as normal on 240v and would not be a pleasant experience. -Mike

  • A. It can be used where you have 240V with an appropriate adapter. Other wise I do not believe so. I cannot help you with the warrantee question I do not know about that.

  • A. The massager works only from an AC outlet. You may need to use an international adapter to use the outlets and/or voltage in foreign countries.

  • A. I believe this model is 120 volt AC electric only. However I hear there is a battery version, But I strongly encourage you to read the reviews on that one. To paraphrase, I hear it works, but the 'experience' just isn't the same and doesn't work as well. I also hear there is a variable speed electric cord controler as there is a "happy spot somewhere between low and high". I hope this helps
