When we assembled it we just left off the cheap plastic doors and it looks great without them. It is a nice sized unit! Fits my big screen TV nicely and holds our DVD players and DVD complete series sets comfortably. I just wish though that they offered these furniture deals in natural wood or in white instead of black. Black is such a dust enhancer! I'm not dusting every day!! I gotta life! 08/29/2011
