Herman Survivors - Men's Contractor Work Boots, Wide Width 31 34
These boots are made for working I bought these boots because I couldn't spend $130.00 on the usual name brand varieties. I wanted comfort, durability and dry feet. I didn't expect it from a boot of this price but man was I wrong. I put my boots through a torture test. Two pair of Wolverines have died from it in as many years. These "cheap" boots don't even look like they've been worn anywhere but the mall on Sundays. I have NEVER got my feet wet while wearing them. I haven't had to glue the sole or heel back on. The toes are barely scratched and I deal with a lot of rock in a day. Good job Walmart for selecting a boot that lasts but doesn't cost an arm and a leg. My next pair will be these.....if they're still making them when these finally wear out! 12/18/2010
tough, comfortable, buy 2 pairs I was surprised at how much I liked these and how durable they are.I have used them 1 year almost daily, and I am happy. I replaced the insoles for custom fit, and replaced the laces due to wear ($2, big deal).Find your size and buy 2 pairs. You will spend twice this much on the "big name" brands or at boot stores.Tip: Spray the outside completely with silicone spray to keep the boots supple and resist mud.
