Rated 5 out of 5 Good value & size for my 8 year old. Hopefully this Hello Kitty backpack will hold out for the entire school year. My daughter is pretty rough with her things.PROS: It's an average size, pretty sturdy, and fits perfectly on my 8 year old. Dark colors, hard to get dirty and she loves it.CONS: I wish it had a small pocket for just pencils, and I couldn't find a black Hello Kitty lunch bag to match it.But overall, I would recommend it to a friend. 10/17/2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by MotherGreyGoose Pretty on the outside, pretty cheap on the inside! I bought this bag online for my 5 year-old daughter who started Kindergarten this year. It looks very pretty in person but the quality is TERRIBLE. The material inside the bigger pocket tore just a few weeks after school started. Mind you, my daughter only carries a sweater, 2 folders that are mostly empty or holding 2-3 sheets, and 1 notebook. (Her other supplies stay in the classroom.) We have another HK bag (not bought from Walmart) that we use on occassion and it's held up for almost a year now so I was very surprised and disappointed. I love Hello Kitty but I would not recommend THIS product to anyone. 10/08/2012
