Rated 4 out of 5★ by Durnado For those looking for a large 120 volt air conditioner, I like this one. I had a large window to start with so it was easy to install. Take note it is heavy on backside. The back side went through window because I didn't keep enough pressure on front side. Slide right out, but I caught it barely, and somehow wiggled it back in. My mistake, not the unit. It blows strong. I bought it as big as I could to beat 100 degrees heat in Texas. Have 2x4 holding up heavy end on outside. I would highly recommend pole on outside for balance in window. Unit weighs about 100 lbs. It is as is 23 3/4 wide, 17 1/2 tall, and 25 1/2 long. That is without siding attached. 04/14/2013
Rated 4 out of 5★ by ladytrex delivery concerns and requires some assembly delivered on it's side, exterior did not note, as the inner carton did, that it should be kept upright at all times. Was worried but so far it is working great. A little complicated to assemble as it wants you to pull workings out of encasement to attach brackets and expander window gap devices. 05/20/2013
Rated 2 out of 5★ by LuvFlower There was a problem with the shipping via Fed-ex. We noticed the shipper turning the box around a lot when wasn't suppose too. Should have better labels on box. And the One we got had a problem with the fan hitting the machine, we had to fix it up ourselves after a while figuring out what was wrong. But other then that once we got installed the machine buts out air lovely. Good working machine. 04/25/2013
Rated 5 out of 5★ by DaGriz So Far, So Good Kind of early to rate but it is a nice, well built unit that so far works very well. As a Mechanical Contractor I actually sold and serviced Heat Controllers Central Heating and Cooling products. I actually took a tour of their facility in Lavergne Tennessee years ago and was duly impressed. Understand that all these units are composed of parts not manufactured by the people whose name is on them. Basically they are assembled by them. From my 35 years in the industry this is as good or better than any and priced well. I replaced a 10,000 btu with this 15,000 btu one for additional cooling on the hot and muggy days of Michigan. This is the biggest I could find that ran off common household current. (110v) To expand on how often do I use the product. I use it on days where the outdoor temperature is at or exceeds 70 degrees. I have no shade and a dark roof, cathedral ceilings open to an upstairs bedroom, so the house is usually very warm. 06/04/2013
Rated 1 out of 5★ by Will235 Measurements shown on Internet was incorrect Heat Controller RADS151H High Efficiency 15,000-BTU Room Window Air ConditionerThe width of this unit was listed as 20.3 inches in the specifications shown on the Internet site where I purchased it.(http://www.walmart.com/ip/Heat-Controller-High-Efficiency-15-000-BTU-High-Efficiency-Window-Air-Conditioner-White/21106365).But the actual width was of the unit was 23.5 inches. The maximum opening of my window is 22.5 inches. So not only did I not get what I wanted I also had the hassle and expense of renting a truck to take the unit back to the nearest store. I am very unhappy with this. Summer is coming and I am still without an A/C after spending the entire day preparing to install this unit and then having to struggle getting it into a truck and returning it. 04/16/2014
