Rated 4 out of 5★ by aninun So far So good I have had a total of about 7 healthriders. Have given many away. I like them because they are the most efficient of workout machines that I've seen as they work all large muscle groups and is an aerobic workout at the same time. This latest version has a couple of upgrades that seem better than previous in that with wear it won't squeak as the joint have rubber on the inside. (oil it every 3 months). I had a friend who put it together. I wouldn't have wanted to do it myself. It's priced less that any other sites I found. It is the "twist" one but it has a pin that you can insert if you don't want to use it that way which I like because I think the twist could hurt ones back if not used with good control. I haven't actually done it yet so I might be wrong. The pin can go in and out so I'll try it. It's very quiet which is important. Comes with 2 dvd's with Tony Little in them. One for legs and butt. the other for total body weight loss and conditioning. No matter what shape you're in you can use this. Start at your own pace. 05/07/2013
Rated 5 out of 5★ by jfduffey Works great for me. I had a HealthRider about 20 years ago, purchased at one of the shopping malls. It was great for a tight and sore back. About two years later, I joined a gym and gave away the HealthRider, but never stopped thinking about it. Recently, after tearing a bicep on fitness center equipment, I decided it was time to find another HealthRider and was delighted to learn it was available from Walmart.com. This is low impact equipment which really works the back, shoulders, chest, and legs. The stretching for the back is just wonderful, and morning back aches have simply gone away. If you're looking to build big muscles, this probably won't do it, but it will definitely stretch, strengthen and tone almost all the body. Combine it with some aerobics and a few situps, and you have a complete program. I'm glad to have it once again. 06/20/2013
Rated 1 out of 5★ by Cheeto1 Disappointed!! I returned it. I was disappointed with the HealthRider Strider. It required too many weights in the back which was not what I expected. 06/17/2013
Rated 3 out of 5★ by KoCat great machine, assembly tricky; electronics lousy I really like the machine overall, though it is a little tricky to put together. It was odd getting used to the movements and how to be smooth, but it only took a couple days to fee comfortable. Very challenging workout, and it's easy to customize the resistance. The 'rowing handles' don't really do much, but it's an ok variation. I like that it feels like you are working a good portion of your overall body. The seat is very uncomfortable (sit bones feels bruised after working out), and at a bad angle - I can't get my feet on the upper peddles without sliding off backwards.I'm very disappointed that right from the start the console has been resetting itself right in the middle of my workout, sometimes multiple times, so i have no idea on things like my total number of reps, and i have to use clock to determine my time. I emailed the company 4 days ago and only received a notice that they received my message, no actual help.I would be happy to give a better review, if I can get the console to work properly. 11/16/2013
