Rated 2 out of 5★ by inaccurate Not even close to what I expected I purchased this book hoping to gain a better insight into how biblical oils were used for medicinal purposes for healing in the Bible. Although this author gave several scripture references indicating where such oils could be found, his attempt to justify the uses during biblical times were very inaccurate. I think that he does do a lot of "plugging" for Young's oils being the best. His background states that he studied in theology, however I am not sure that he studied well. He had a lot of inaccuracies when it came to certain passages in the scripture relating to oils, particulary stating that the "3 wise men" brough frankincense and myrhh" to Mary to apply to her umbilical cord sense they knew it could heal her. Had he done his research, he would have known that Jesus was NOT an infant by the time that the wise men got to her. In fact, scripture indicates that he had to have been toddler age. So what does frankincense and myrrh have to do with Mary at this point. Anyway, this book had some good references to locating scripture so that you can dig and study further yourself. But it is highly inaccurate regarding from a biblical interpretation standpoint. Keep searching for a better book 06/28/2011
