Rated 4 out of 5 by bettafriend pretty, great size/shape, fishy loves it! i had my betta in a bowl-like tank (no filter, plants, or anything). his water got so bad so fast i was always doing changes. i wanted something bigger with a filter but still easy and cute for my office desk.after returning the first one i got due to a large crack in the side and then inspecting 5 broken/cracked/scratched/returned ones at another walmart, i finally got one that is passable. i wanted it badly enough to put up with the minor scratches. i doubt the quality of this product, but so far it's at least holding water and the filter is working nicely. when it stops bubbling i'll have to get a replacement air stone.i ended up getting a friend for my betta as well as a plant. i use glass beads (the round ones look like bubbles!). the colours are great, but i keep mine on the light pink to match my decor.since there isn't a heater, i was told by a fish expert to wrap a towel or blanket around it at night or when it gets cold, and on weekends, so the temperature of the water will not go down dangerously low.so far i'm happy, even though the filter's a bit noisy for my quiet setting. it's so calming to look at, though, it's worth it. also, i had nightmares after putting too many beads in it so i took some out. i was afraid the cheap acrylic would break. so far, so good.the assembly is easy, but confusing (the directions suck). there is a plastic tube that encloses the airline which fits both into the bottom of the tank as well as a fish guard at the top. when you feed, change water, and clean, you will have to stick your hand in the water to get the fish guard back onto the tube where it goes. otherwise, you'll get gravel/beads into the hole where the tubing goes, and it's kind of a nightmare.i'm considering trimming the airline since the pump sits right outside the tank and there is quite a lot of extra line. it is easily hidden, though, unless you REALLY want to see it in 360. it's really more of a 180! 10/27/2011

Rated 4 out of 5 by paydaybaby The little things matter. I bought this for my three year old son it is a really great tank it has very nice led light at the base. The light effects are stunning at night. the lid is nice the only thing I would say bad about this tank is the food hole gets nasty really easy so I just take the lid off. and the other is the air pump is kind of awkward.over all I love it! 07/27/2011
