Very disappointed container size vs Contents I used this product many years ago when I had a long hair (Maine Coon). It worked well and a tube lasted much longer than this. I am disappointed with such a large container with so little content. I suggest cutting it open to get full use of the product when it seems to have run out.I have four medium length fur adult cat siblings (17#, 16#, 14#, 22#) now. Two of them accepted this and two won't get near it. Only two of my four eliminate hairballs from their mouth and it isn't often that they do it.I usually use fresh cut organically grown grass. It works quite well to get a cat to eliminate hairballs from their mouth, if they have been coughing a lot and not getting it out.This product has helped my cats that would accept it; but, not totally eliminated the problem. Using good quality food helps the most. I use Purina One and Purina One Special Care (including hairball care). These foods cut down on feces as well as amount the cat eats and you can see the fur in the resulting feces.I have Salmon. I have had cats that preferred the Malt flavor; but, Hartz no longer offers Malt.YMMV: Hope it works for you. 05/11/2012
My cat loves this This is an excellent product and I have purchased in store for years. Store did not stock for a while so I had to order on line. Afterwards, I again saw it on store shelf. Please keep this in stock at store. Cat loves it and expects regular dose. Hairball incidents are practically nil. 09/29/2011

This is a rip off I'm not writing a review about how this works. My cat will eat it off his paw and it works. This is about the PACKAGING!! What you buy here for the price is 2.5 oz. Now the tube you get I would guess would hold upwards of 10 oz. If Hartz sold you a tube that holds 2.5 oz it would be maybe an inch and a half long.The tube you're buying is at least 80 per cent EMPTY. The first time I bought this from Amazon I thought someone had taken one tube and squeezed it into another then sent me the empty one. But NO this is an empty tube. Now the tubes come with tape on them to show they haven't been tampered with.This is probably due to complaints the tube has been tampered with. This is just a product rip off. BEWARE! But like me you have to buy it for your cat. So always buy at least two to four tubes since it's empty after only a few uses. 07/13/2011
