I have 2 German Shephards that are 2.5 years old with really sharp teeth. Although I just bought this product yesterday, toys don't usually make it out of the truck without tears and rips! Surprisingly, they played with this toy for hours, both of them and that is as durable as it gets!

It is hollow, but filled with a squishy foam.  It&#39;s soft - we bounce it off of the walls.

Don&#39;t get this toy. The one I received is small enough for a large dog to choke on and cheap enough to be chewed into bits quickly.

Your dog sounds larger than my dogs.  My dogs bit and destroyed the ball immediately when they got it in the yard.  It is not durable at all and if your dog likes to chew, pieces of the stuffing may be swallowed and he could choke on them.  Buy something more durable.  I got another brand that was rubber and more durable.  They come in red and light blue and have a  finger sized hole in the end.  I got both the medium and small balls.  Our girls love them.  My dogs weigh 32 pounds and are medium height.

Our dog really loves these! He can smell them in the bag when we bring groceries home! We haven't had one that has torn up or got a hole in it and he has some sharp teeth! He picks these above any of his toys! He will pick one color and one ball and that is the only one he will want the entire day! Doesn't matter he has like 30! He plays with them inside and out! But we do keep specific ones for each area! God forbid the one rolls under the couch! Has kept him entertained during the winter! Soft enough to play with and throw inside!

My dog is a big German Shepard.  Bought this ball as another toy because my dog goes through toys. Rips them up, chews them up.  
I can't believe it, she hasn't destroyed this ball. After months of having it, it's still like new. There is a sqeeker inside and usually she can get them out but not on this one. She chews an chews this ball and it's still as new as the day we got it. She doesn't play with anything anymore she just searches this one out. I had to buy 2 more just to place around the house so she could always find one.

Best toy ever

My Aussie Boxherd has an insatiable desire to play with a ball since she was born and she went through literally 50 balls before finding this one that she truly loves. We play baseball with this ball all the time where I get Coda (dog) out on the baseball field about 100 feet away from me and hit the DuraPlay Ball with a wiffle ball bat into the air and Coda can catch this ball in the air before it hits the ground. Truly amazing!!! The balls handle well but we still go through quite a few balls a month mainly due to the frequency we play and the number of times I hit the ball to her. She has garnered the nickname Coda %26 a Can of Corn bc can of corn is an old baseball phrase used where a batter hits a pop up in the air that's easy to catch.  Lastly, we are in the works of using a DuraPlay small ball to attempt to get Coda in the Guinness Book of World Records for catching the longest ball hit in the air off a bat before it hits the ground.

My nephew Golden Retriever, Charlie, has strong teeth and he's a heavy chewer. He's had this ball in his mouth for most of the week walking around with it. And…it still squeaks! It feels really soft and squishy and I was pretty sure it wouldn't last. I'm pleasantly surprised! Buy with confidence.

Our boxer loves this ball. It has a loud squeak but we just push in the end on the seam and it stops the squeak. Our boxer loves tennis balls but destroys them so this is his new favorite and has yet to destroy it or tear it apart. This is the large (softball size) and we have a smaller one too. We recommend squishy ball.

My dogs love the ball that is pictured. I ordered to of them recently and had them shipped to my Walmart Store. I was surprised to find that the balls were not the same as the one in the picture online. The balls I received were just the regular Hartz Duraplay large balls. My dogs don't like them as much. So if you want the ball in the picture, DO NOT order! Otherwise, the product Duraplay ball is very durable and last a long time.

This ball is easily destroyed unlike other dog balls. My dog was alone with this ball for 5 minutes and it's destroyed. We have other dog balls, for years, that cannot he chewed or broken.  Waste of money.
