These Hardwood Wood Building Blocks provide both enjoyment and intellectual development in one package. These strong, attractive hardwood blocks come in 14 different shapes cut from 100 percent solid rubberwood. They are both machine- and hand-sanded for an ultra-smooth finish. This finish makes them more comfortable to handle and rounds the edges for added safety. This wood block set includes a block tub made of similar hardwood, which can double as a build platform.

I think it will take a while for them to brake completely though. And this probably happened because he likes to hit them with his toy hammer. I love that they come with a wooden box to build on or store them in. 04/08/2013
