I looked everywhere for a glittery mascara and not even the specialty makeup stores offered something similar. Rated 5 out of 5 by Ali9673 Awesome Color!! Well, this was my first attempt at using any type of glitter mascara & i loved the color so i thought i'd give it a try. I have to tell you that i DO love the beautiful teal type color, but once i applied it to my lashes i could barely see it- unless i was under some really bright light or out in the sun. However, i was determined not to give up because i loved the color so much i bought several of them...lol. A little back ground on my make-up use- i tend to go for glittery and/or stand out looks, complete with dramatic cat eye black eyeliner & all that & i have been using MAC & other favorite brands for many years. So thinking outside the box i decided to take an eyeliner brush & remove the glitter macara color from the applicator it comes with & use it as an additional eyeliner creating a line OVER top of my usual black eyeliner. I tried it for the first time yesterday & i got so many compliments! It was actually no eyeshadow at all, a black eyeliner at the lash line, then i used the glitter mascara as an eyeliner above that & topped it off with my favorite black mascara. I'm still gonna keep experimenting with it, but so far am VERY pleased with using it as a sparkly liner if nothing else... hope this helps :) 01/07/2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by AnndyDoll Bad and Flaky. the "brush" is a plastic tube without bristles. it has slight ridges in it that means clumps galor. it falls off and flakes into your eyes. the color is beautiful, but the quality is poor. 08/26/2011
