this lamp is great for those gloomy darker days I am really enjoying my happy light sun simulator. I keep it in my office and both my clients and I are benefitting from more 'sunlight' as we go into the darker season.......compact, lightweight, very portable, and a great value. keep it on a desktop or table near you, no need to have it shine directly on your face. Keeping it alongside you is sufficient. Moving it from room to room is definitely an option, it is so small and light. 11/11/2011

We returned the "happy light".Have you ever accidently looked directly into a bright light and could still see the image when you shut your eyes? This is excactly what happened when we tried to use this light. We moved it several places in the house because I was determined to keep it, but it was just too awkardly bright. 11/12/2011
