Ride um cowboy. Yee Haw. Makes galloping sounds; neighing sounds & snorts.

I think it made horse sounds and played music.. It was corney and annoying ... I had batteries in it for less than a minute.

The horse makes no sound, the only sounds come from the very happy child.

Does require AA batteries.. I didn't use them because the sounds are annoying anyway. Kids don't care.

I bought this for my 2yr old son and he loves it. He needs little help getting on it because it stands tall. It is very durable... my 7yr old likes to play on it too. I am very happy with it.

Great for the little ones...

We got this horse because it was taller and larger and held and 80 lb. child. Our grandson absolutely loved it. He liked the stirrups and the sound and was thrilled to have a horse that he could continue to play with. He outgrew his old rocking horse, but still wanted to play with a horse. He just turned 7 and is fascinated with cowboys and horses. It turned out to be a real winner for a child like him.This was a great gift for a grandma to give a grandchild.

A good product for a child over 5

I gave the Happy Trails Rocking Horse to my 4 year old great-granddaughter for her birthday. she fell in love with it. She has named it "Charley". The looks of the horse is beautiful, with it's plush hide, long mane and tail, it almost looks as if it would take off on its own.

Great Rocking Horse for a child.

My 4 year old granddaughter loved the Rocking Horse. Besides riding her horse she also brushes the tail and talks to the horse. My granddaughter has Down Syndrome. The rocking horse has been therapeutic.

Happy Trails Rocking Horse

My sweet girl asked for a rocking horse for her 5th birthday. I took a chance on this one, it seemed to be the biggest and best for her height and weight that I could find. She loves it. Perfect height for her. It does the trick.

We bought this rocking horse for our granddaughter who is two and 1/2 and gave it to her yesterday.   She absolutely loved it and spent the whole afternoon rocking.  The horse is pretty tall, which is a good size for a child that age and should be fine for her for the next 2-3 years.   Horse is also very light weight which makes it easy for her to move it from room to room.  The only problem is the plastic saddle which is slippery and not solidly connected to the horse.  So she kept sliding off.   So we removed the saddle and the horse was much better for her to ride 'bareback".   The saddle is strictly for looks - it doesn't really perform any useful purpose.  Overall a very nice toy at a good price.  I recommend it highly - except for the saddle which I would suggest removing.

Happy Trails Rocking horse - a good buy

We wanted to give our grandson a rocking horse for his 3rd birthday.  After checking out several brands decided on this one because my grandson is big for his age so I wanted one that was bigger that usual and we wanted one that he could use for a while.   The horse is really cute and soft, went together easily enough and seems pretty sturdy.   Our grandson was very excited about getting the rocking horse and really likes it.  We hope that his little brother will be able to use it as well when he is older.
The only part I don't like too much is that the saddle is vinyl and seems to slip sideways because it is not attached too good, but if this becomes an issue it can always be taken off.

Birthday Present

The horse is very cute.. It's much lighter weight than I expected but seems to be sturdy enough. For the price and how cute the horse is .... the saddle and stirrups are cheap looking. I couldn't get the hand grips to attach tightly. They turn but I guess they still work. The battery compartment is cheaply made and hard to get to.. It's on belly of horse. The sound the horse makes is loud and annoying so considering how hard the battery is to get to I just didn't install them.. kids don't mind. I feel like if you changed batteries a couple times the battery compartment would be destroyed anyway ..at least screw heads stripped. Horse is big enough for a seven year old and he's not a shorty. My 2 yr old who is rather tall can't get on by himself. So I feel like we will get our money's worth out of it before it's out grown.

Very cute

Pretty disappointed on this one. Def smaller in life than expected, even knowing the dimensions. Bought it for 4 year old granddaughter and she liked it ok. Looks and feels cheap to me. Price was def too high for what we got. Would not recommend(considering the high price)

Not a go for me

We bought this for our 2 yr old Grandson.  This horse has no wieght to it at all and tips very easilyj.  Also the saddle is plastic and slips causing the rider to fall off of the side.  The description says wood core which led me to believe it was the core of the horse, but it's clearly made from styrofoam.  We returned it!
