Rated 3 out of 5 by wooroo Maybe it was me, but I had trouble with it I was thinking that it could have been the very hard, minerally well water here, but every time I washed it, I had more trouble getting the top off after blending something. I really had to wrestle with it to get it off. I was trying to learn to live with that because I liked the "wave action" that helped cycle the ingredients back down to the blades, but then I thought I had gotten the bottom screwed on right, and when I poured it leaked out. I tried really hard to make sure that the bottom was on again correctly the next time, but it was still wrong and leaked out. I'm getting up there in age and have never had trouble like that with any blender I've ever had, so I gave up and returned it. 02/01/2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by megdave523 I really LOVE this blender-it is by far the best blender I have had. I use it for smoothies, and it crushes the ice very smooth. The only negative aspect of the this blender is that the lid is hard to get off and may be tough for someone with arthritis. 01/24/2012
