Rated 4 out of 5 by 2g2gan Excellent oven So far so good! This is an excellent table oven/rotessierie. I've only owned this over a month and used maybe 10 times and no issues so far. I love the rotessierie feature which i used twice to cook a 5lb prime rib and product came out perfect. Unit works as advertised and just hoping it will last as long as my old Hamilton which i owned for over 15 years and only replaced by this one because of a broken handle on cover. Unit arrived with minor cosmetic issue but for the price I paid its still worth it. 12/21/2011
Rated 2 out of 5 by Nguyen12 Inconsistent temperature - ineffective convection I decided to buy a Hamiltion Beach large capacity countertop convection oven with rotisserie function because I thought it would be convenient for baking small cake and the convection design would improve the quality of baking goods, and save energy. However, the oven had many problems. First, the temperature was inconsistent. I used an oven thermometer to measure the temperature. At my first try, I set the temperature at 350 degrees and set the preheat time for 10 minutes as indicated in the manual. The temperature reached 350 degrees. Then. I set the baking time for 40 minutes but the temperature decreased to 350 degrees. I turned the nob to 400 degrees, but the temperature only reached 350. I tried the oven several times, but the temperature appeared to be 50 degrees lower than the set temperature.Another problem was with baking cake: the top of the cake was goden brown, which was good, but the bottom did not turn to golden brown like the top even when I placed the baking tray at the lowest rack.Moreover, the convection appeared to be ineffective. The air flow was too weak to make any difference. I baked two cakes without and with the convection option, but the baking times and the cake quality were exactly the same.The price of this product was great ($80), but this great price did not go with good quality. So, I decided to return the product. 12/17/2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Slickdome Nice Counter Top Oven Oven works great, very quite. Would have been nice if the inside was lighted. Our old Toast Master Oven was very noisy but did have a light in the oven which made easy to see inside the oven without opening the door. 09/06/2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by shaynebabe2009 So Far So Good. I bought this for my boyfriend who LOVES to cook and so far he's enjoyed having it. We've cooked biscuits, fish, toast, etc. simple things in it and it's been great. The only thing that bugs me a little is the outside. It looks nice but I've noticed that it tends to show water marks really well. If you accidentally splash some water on the outside and it dries before you notice, it makes it look dirty but that's not an issue (because you can obviously clean it). Just a little extra effort to put into it. =) 02/04/2012
