This Hamilton Beach 37537 Food Steamer steams all types of foods to perfection. It features two tiers, a removable divider and a digital touchpad. This Hamilton food steamer is designed with cooking options that allow preparation of larger and smaller foods all at one time. When the food is steamed and ready, this digital food steamer automatically switches to warm mode to keep it hot and fresh until you switch off the steamer and are ready to serve. It can be used to steam delicate foods like fish, shrimp and lobster. This steamer is large enough to fit corn on the cob or a head of broccoli. Eggs can be cooked upright from soft cooking to hard boiling in this steamer. This Hamilton steamer comes with a bowl which is perfect for steaming rice or smaller sized food items. A digital pad provides the settings used for cooking that you can choose from. The digital food steamer also features countdown timer to ensure you don't accidently overcook. The nested storage saves space.

Rated 2 out of 5 by bizzybizzymommy not what I expected This was received as a gift and I have tried to cook several things in this steamer and it does not cook quickly. I takes twice as long to cook in this as it does a traditional steamer and the food is dripping wet when I remove it. 12/28/2009
Rated 4 out of 5 by Mommy2Budders Eat Great and Lose Weight! Who knew steaming food would taste so good! It definately works great for my husband and me. I hate having to use separate pots and pans to cook dinner so this steamer helps cut down on dishes! And everything is ready at about the same time! Also great to cut down on fat when you are trying to lose weight. We eat healthier now thanks to the steamer! No overweight babies here either! Highly Recommend! 01/03/2011

Fresh steamed veggies taste so much better than the canned. We started out using a skillet and a homemade screen to hold the vegetables till I came across this steamer while shopping on the internet. It does a great job and is very easy to clean up afterwards. Just a soapy rinse in hot water and your done. We also use it to reheat with, really good for reheating meat instead of nuking it dry! Only thing I don't really like about it is that it is made of cheap plastic that may not hold up to time. Looks like it would not take much to break it. We wash ours by hand right after using it, don't trust putting it in the dishwasher. That said, I would still buy it, and recommend it to anyone. 04/19/2010
Rated 3 out of 5 by avasmom9 Ok, but the juices sink down into bottom tray I dont even use the 2nd tier because they juices sweat down into whatever fruit/veggie is on the first tier. I had blueberrys on top of zuchinni-making baby food and I had blueberry flavored zuchinni. YUCK! Anyway. It does the job, just be careful. It also takes a good ten minutes to get any steam going. 02/15/2012
