great coffee maker! Just as good as a Keurig! This is the 2nd brewstation i've owned. I had my other one for about 2 years and I wanted to keep one at my mother's for when I come to visit (and it was a great excuse to buy myself a new one). I LOVE this coffeemaker! The no-carafe feature is wonderful, your coffee doesn't get a burnt taste after 20 minutes. That being said, you shouldn't expect your coffee to taste amazing after it's been sitting for 3 hours on warm - that's just common sense. Also, I know people have complained about experiencing leaking. That can happen, but it's a huge indication that you need to clean you coffee maker with vinegar. I have no idea why people think it's not important to clean your coffeemaker... you clean your mugs, silverware,plates, etc. CLEAN YOUR COFFEEMAKER! You just have to run it with vinegar like once a month, more or less often depending on how often you use it, and then run a couple clean water runs... NOT difficult.Bottom line: Best coffeemaker you'll find. I personally think it's better than a Keurig if you drink more than one cup of coffee a day and you don't feel like paying 10x as much for the same coffee. Just make sure you clean it, otherwise you'll be sorry. 03/03/2012
leaky leaky leaky This coffee maker leaks more than any I have ever owned. Even more than the other Hamilton Beach coffee makers, which all leak somewhat. Don't even think of trying to serve your coffee one-handed. I have only had this coffee pot a little over a month and it's going back. 02/10/2012
Not Happy I got this coffeepot about 9 months ago....5 months later, the light to indicate it's on stopped working. 3 months after that, we lost power and I went to reset the time and the HOUR button no longer worked, therefor I can't set my coffee to make in the morning before I get up. Got up this morning, made my coffee and as soon as it stopped brewing, the entire thing shut down and now won't work at all. Of course I don't have my receipt....lost in the shuffle somewhere so I can't return it...totally bummed....100 people coming to my house for a party tomorrow and I have to go and buy a new coffee maker. NOT happy Hamilton Beach! $60 for a coffee pot for 9 months.....I think I'll go back to Mr. Coffee....my last one lasted 9 years!!! Really liked the no carafe brew station...gonna miss it. 05/02/2012
