Rated 3 out of 5 by Krisiepoo You get what you pay for This juicer is a lot less expensive than a lot of other juicers however just remember you get what you pay for...This juicer leaves tons of pulp which is very wet in nature. It strips apples of their peels and chucks the peels in the discard bin.I still get my juice and I'm still getting the benefits from such but if you're looking for a long lasting juicer that does a good job, you're out of luck. 08/29/2010
Rated 2 out of 5 by sgaz I purchased this juicer due to the good reviews and low price. It worked great while it worked. I used it everyday and sometimes twice a day during the weekend. It ended up only working for a little over a month...one day after I prepped all my fruits/veggies I put a cucumber thru it and it wouldn't juice then it started making super loud noise and shaking all over the counter. I shut it off and luckily I was able to return it to Walmart even without the box because it had been less than 90 days since I purchased it. I was hoping that it was just a defective product but I won't know now since they don't carry this item in store. I ended up getting the GE Juicer to replace it since I'm on a juice diet we'll see how that one works! 08/12/2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by joyscountrycottage Best for the $.....!!!!! I had been borrowing a more expensive Jack Lalane juicer, that while was fine on citrus , carrots, and apples, did horrible on greens. The hp on that one is 1/3 I believe. ...and $99.This one has a 1 hp motor. What a difference....on the plus side. My pulp was much drier, which means more juice! I didn't even need to push on the plunger! I viewed vids on utube which showed it juicing greens, so while I haven't done that yet....I know it will do it.The little juicer catch is a joke, but no big deal to put a bowl under the spout. The pulp catcher is fine. The only thing I see possibly going wrong is the strainer might break or wear out with the daily use I give it. I am going to go to the Hamilton beach website and order an extra for $11, for ..just in case.I like the more compact size, and cleanup was a little faster. All good! The only thing I don't like is the strainer sits on rubber nubs, like a blender. I can for see that being an issue down the long road. But for the money......this is a good performer. A1 in my book. The money savings, allowed me to buy a good dehydrator, to make chips , etc from all that pulp! 12/20/2011
Rated 1 out of 5 by condorflying333 broke in three weeks I would never purchase or suggest anyone buy this unit. It worked for only three weeks. Now I have to go through trying to get my money back. Big hassle. 09/09/2012
