The Hamilton Beach 6 cup Brewstation will hold a maximum of 5 tablespoons of coffee.

I use (2) full coffee measures for 6 cups.

you can fill a 4 cup filter to the top if you want to give yourself a heart attack....the space for grinds is plenty plus extra for the amount of coffee it brews....no worries on that

A lot. I'm not sure exactly how man, but I measure in tablespoons (we like our coffee strong) and I have put in as much as 6 before. But it could hold a lot more. Probably 20 and up.

Manual says 5 tablespoons.Anymore could leak out and jam pour spout button causing leaks.

It depends on how many cups you are making. They are talking about 6 smaller cups of coffee not large mugs. I use the same directions as on the can of coffee.

I use one tablespoon per cup....so 6 tbs. fit easily with extra room.

5-6 Tbls would be the standard amount of grounds to use

I would say 6 tbsp since usually it takes 1 to 3/4 of a tbsp per cup. The brewstation makes six cups so that's why I say 6 tbsp. You could put a bit more for stronger coffee but then it might over flow.

Uses 3 standard coffee scoop measures (about 6 tbsp).

For a full pot, I use four heaping tablespoons, give or take. I like my coffee not strong but a little robust. The coffee I use is Dunkin Donut coffee, original blend.

The Hamilton Beach 6 cup Brewstation model 48274 does not include a travel cup. Regular coffee cups and travel mugs can be used with this coffeemaker. The consumer controls the amount of coffee that dispenses by pressing the cup against the dispensing lever.

hold the cup on the button, when you have enough coffee in your cup move the cup away from the machine, the rest of the brew stay in the machine until you need more, then redispence

It does have a tight fit.I use a smaller thinner container than transfer it to my travel mug.you decide the amount you want and there is no way of telling how much coffee is left but it shouldn't be too hard since you add the water amount and know how much your cup holds.

You depress the lower part of the lever with your cup and when you remove your cup it stops pouring.

I like a big cup of coffee in the morning. I use a plastic 16 ounce cup with a screw on lid and it is great! The brewer can make 2 of these at a time.

Any cup can be used (as long as it fits in the space given) and you push to dispense and stop pushing to stop dispensing.

It works like a fountain drink dispenser. You push your cup/mug against a button to dispense and when your cup/mug is full you pull it away and the coffee stops dispensing.

You press your coffee mug on the gray bar that is attached to the coffee unit & the coffee dispenses into your mug. Perfect & hot & ready to drink

It is the latter. When you press the bar with your cup, it moves a lever that releases the coffee. Like when you pour from a pot and place it back under the grounds and it resumes dripping.
