Rated 5 out of 5 by BlueViking99 Easy to use and great results This smoothie maker is great. Super easy to assemble - base, pitcher and lid, plug it in and you're ready to go. The lid is a soft plastic and snaps into place making a tight seal.We made a banana smoothie - fresh bananas, milk and ice cream. Just pressed the one button smoothie maker button. It pulsed on its own to break up the solid pieces, and then rotated upwards to blend the rest of the smoothie. Unlike our old smoothie maker there were no clumps of banana at the bottom of the pitcher. No funny motor smell either. The pouring spout is oversized and doesn't drip. Clean up is easy too. Just remove the lid and pitcher and rinse/wash.Highly recommend this smoothie maker. Only small drawback is that it is loud, but all smoothies that I have ever used are. At least it's loud and effective. 10/15/2012
