I bought this blender to replace an old blender that didn't get the job done, and this blender works fantastically. I primarily use it to make smoothies. I put in whole frozen berries and it blends them very well. I can put in enough stuff to make two 25oz smoothies and then drink it through a straw without any difficulties. 08/17/2010
Hamilton Beach Blender By the third use this product needed thrown in the trash. Had to manually push the ingredients to the bottom where the blades would not spin enough to chop them up. One person on another site described it as a blender that would have trouble trying to puree pudding. I totally agree. Pass this up, not worth wasting your money on. 09/08/2010
Not enough power I bought this blender because it had the same power rating as my old HB blender, however it has no where near the power. The first time I tried to make a smoothie, It stalled and would barely turn the blade. After that I have gotten it to barely work adequetly to blend anything. Stay away or you will be disapointed. I am. Wasted $50 02/21/2011
The motor quit working after the second use, and had to be returned. I went with a different blender the second time around. 06/12/2011
